We chose this hotel as we were planning to stay over a week, and due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, we opted for one with last minute cancellation just in case, for a reasonable price. The location was perfect, right outside the train station. We parked our car in the nearby RCP car park for a discounted £14 per day instead of the usual £28 (bring the chip to the hotel reception for validation. It's about 5 minutes walk, so convenient. There's a Tesco, Sainsbury's and Marks and Spencers nearby. Lots of eating places to choose from too! We didn't go for the breakfast option as it was during the covid period, and there's no hot breakfast available. 5 minutes walk to the Brighton Laines, and 10-15 min walk to the sea front. Check in and check out was easy. Usual covid precautions were present in every location of the hotel.The usual house keeping did not happen daily, just all most accommodation practice, which was fine, The memo said if we stayed over 6 days, it will be cleaned then on day 6, but ours was cleaned around day 3 which surprised us! As the rooms aren't serviced daily, we had to ask for extra coffees/teas from the reception who always obliged. It was just wonderful to have a kettle in the room which is very welcome! Hairdryer provided. The bed was comfortable, the view was spectacular. The room would benefit from a few more hooks around the room for coats etc. If the hotel was to be refurbished in future, I would suggest having plug sockets by the bedside. The working of the TV took a while to get the hang of. It has the usual 'free view' channels. The toiletries are limited to a bottle of combined shower/shampoo attached to the wall in the shower and by the sink.Unfortunately the toilet door couldn't really shut properly and probably need readjusting. The toilet light takes a while to come on too after switching it on. The shower was disappointingly weak, not powerful enough, the saving grace was it can get very hot which is good. The walls (and ceiling!) are thin! We were glad our neighbours upstairs who were audibly enjoying themselves finally slept at a decent hour of the night! All staff were excellent, polite, obliging, helpful, makes such a difference to having a pleasant stay. We would stay again for the location and price and friendly staff, and would highly recommend it.

I spent a weekend in Brighton with my boyfriend. It was an occasion for both of us to explore the city and for to discover it as I never went to Brighton before. My boyfriend was surprised and happy to find a birthday card as well as balloons in the room upon arrival.

Room was fine but a bit basic. Very handy location near the station. Only two medium sized towels provided in the bathroom seemed very mean. Good anti-Covid measures but taking away the left luggage room is a step too far - this is an essential service when staying at a hotel

We stayed one night in Brighton centre by the train station, friendly welcome and easy check in. Safety measures in place. Reasonable price and convenient parking. We did need to use earplugs to combat street noise despite being on the 7th floor, as a result my wife did not sleep well at all.

The hotel is in a perfect town-centre location, minutes from the station and close to all the shops, etc. I was greeted by friendly staff at reception who carefully explained all the COVID protocols and one-way system. My room was spotless and the perfect size for a one night stay. I could even see the sea! I chose a bag of continental goodies for breakfast which was well worth the price. All in all, a great stay!

I liked the instace, safety and comfort, attention of the reception staff, but on the part of the cleaning i left to be desired, a week without changing the sheets, they did not vacuum the floor, i did not remove the pig, i did not scrub the battery and on the last day, I lacked toilet paper. But even so I am happy on the other hand I was satisfied as a customer. gracias

Ibis Hotels are my favorite due to their price policy except a few issues concerning Brighton area need to be taken care of ; Watch out for streets easy to bring diseases to the guest rooms based upon my stay for more than 8 nights
