I got charged twice for my dog. I had already paid when I booked the stay and told the receptionist but still I had to pay again there. I brought this up with customer service and no one is helping me or looking into this. When you book on the official website and you add the pet you already pay the 10€. I have sent through a video of your own booking process. Unfortunately it does not show in the confirmation one receives. So, this would need to be more transparent.

I missed my train connection at 10:00 PM and felt embarrassed and worried, not knowing what to do or where to go. Being stranded at the Valence TGV station so late at night, I was incredibly relieved to find a hotel just a two-minute walk away. But what stood out the most to me was the reception. Nice, large family room with a view of the Alps in the background, and a more banal parking lot in the foreground, but nice and quiet in early April. I took this room because it was one of the last ones available on the eve of Easter weekend.

Within a 5 minute walk from Valence TGV station, the hotel offers no-frills but clean, comfortable, spacious rooms for a good night's rest. The only criticism is the cold tile floor, frigid in the winter, when a wooden floor would be much better.
