Total mix up on our part booking, we managed to book the wrong night (the following evening) but Aartee on reception was amazing! Even though the hotel was fully booked Aartee managed to sort a room for us! The room was perfect for the four of us with plenty of space and a free mini bar to boot!

We have stayed here many times and it always delivers in all areas. Lovely staff, Comfortable rooms, relaxed bar area with good service, great convenience for terminal 5, with easy walk through a pleasant corridor to the terminal. Check in was fast with excellent friendly service from a charming young man called Rohan. We will be back again soon.

We chose the Sofitel because of its proximity to terminal 5 – Ideal for an early flight, it’s just along a covered walkway to departures. Of course, this comes at a cost: it is more expensive than other airport hotels, but it was worth it for the convenience. However, on arrival we were delighted to be given a complimentary upgrade of room type. This turned what would have been (I imagine) a very good stay into an excellent one! The room was spacious, luxurious, clean and well-equipped – and quiet. Superb! We had booked a table in Vivre Restaurant, which was just as well because it was busywith a queue outside! We had an excellent meal here – A bustling but pleasant atmosphere with the open kitchen, excellent food, very good service, and pretty good value. Unfortunately, our flight was too early for us to have breakfast at the hotel.

Sujeewa and Ronaldo in the Club Lounge were the best hosts and served our every need. Our glass was never empty. Nothing was too much trouble. The food served was plentiful and very tasty. A very pleasant experience to start our holiday. Thank you guys!
