Staff lovely- very polite and helpful. Room clean. Beds very uncomfortable - need better quality mattresses. Pleased breakfast included in our deal as not worth £12.50 p.p.

Location for city centre and transport links was excellent. Check in process was slow and not very welcoming, also lacked information. Room was basic (expected on a budget) but missing items, such as waste bin, hand towel and plug sockets (only one single and one double, not ideally where needed). Metal step into bathroom and slippery flooring throughout was a safety risk. Bathroom sink leaked underneath. Beds were very uncomfortable. Noise of other occupants and city centre night-goers was disturbing, though builders outside our open window at 7am was infuriating. Breakfast price seemed high (£12.50pp). Discount on carpark across the road (Lace Market P) was satisfactory and, again, excellently located.

I was disappointed and for the first time ever considered checking straight out and finding another hotel. The room was tired and the bed uncomfortable and we both left exhausted. I couldn’t recommend Ibis and wouldn’t stay again

IIt was an ok experience, but there were a couple of issues. I had a problem with the wi-fi connection, because it kept cutting out while trying to stream videos. Also an issue with housekeeping who were trying to clean my room. The card was placed on my door the night before, saying to skip the clean. Also, I had booked a late check-out that day, so cleaning the room while I was still using it, would have been pointless. Surely housekeeping have a record of who is checking out late? The breafast was very good and the dining area was clean, lovely and colourful as well as inviting. I may stay here again, but Im not sure due to my experience.
