Really appreciate all the staff at the hotel. Xiaowu and Derek were so helpful with our checkin and everything (meals, afternoon tea, luggage etc. You name it!) They are the ones that made us enjoy our stay so much. Would certainly recommend to others and would come again next time I'm in Xi'an!

The staff working in the hotel is kind and helpful. However, the room service dish was not satisfactory. In addition, the breakfast was not satisfactory either.

Great location great serivce. The hotel building itself is a historic site but it's well mainteined. All staff are very polite and considerate. The chief butler Mr. Xiaowu Fang and our butler Derek's serive is way beyond expectations. This hotel will definitely be a must-go

Our stay at the People’s Grand was exceptional. Attentive and personal service and a sophisticated and yet tranquil ambience. We loved the daily cocktail hour. We particularly loved the historical features - the museum was a highlight - but also the modern amenities. The swimming pool with its view of the gardens was a favourite of my younger daughter. In addition to providing excellent service, the hotel enjoys a favourable location and is in easy walking distance of the wall, the Muslim quarter and the park. A great stay.

From the moment of booking the staff was extremely accommodating with my late night arrive. They made every interaction seem natural and seamless. Nothing and no one felt put of place. Truly excellent service.

The hotel enjoys a prime location and convenient transport. Was delighted to be upgraded to a suite on arrival. The room was nice and clean. Friendly butler service. Exceptional turndown service. Very disappointed to find few options for breakfast. There was mould on the blueberries. Not many coffee or bakery offers to select from. Not satisfied with the laundry service. Too clumsy and poured myself with coffee at breakfast . It was just a one-day staycation, so I didn’t take extra clothes with me. I wondered whether the dress can be ready before checking out and checked with a gentleman at the front desk. He said it would be alright if I pay extra 50% for the dry clean. The hotel was fully booked on that day. The butler reminded me to check out before 12pm. Yet the dress was not ready when we have to leave. It was so embarrassing when checking out without proper clothing. Received the clean dress that afternoon. I would say it is not an ideal place for staycation. Not a good place for luxury-hotel-breakfast lovers either.

services were ok. some room equipment is not luxury standard, e.g. no intelligent toilet, no blue tooth speaker. actually, no need for guest toilet at all in 60 square meters rooms as the living room is so crowd, the chair would bump into the tea table once you sit on it. the bed angle is sticking out, hit my shank. went to gym, the lights were not on in the changing room, took times to find the switch.

Eason was super nice. He and his colleagues made a card and cake for my twins 6-year's birthday. The kids loved it. The hotel is historical, elegant and luxury. We think it is the best one in X.'an, and W hotel is the 2nd one.

The valet needs to be more professional and prepared. I got there via taxi, when u arrived there, the valet didn’t even notice my arrival. I had to carry my luggage and bag to the lobby through the ramp.

Friendly staffs with attention to details. Two things stand out during my stay; first, wife missed breakfast because she was too exhausted from all the walking and your staff (the beautiful pregnant lady) directed the server to paperbag some assortment if buns and fruits for me to take back to the room; second, staff sent a cake and roses to our room to help celebrate wife birthday. Small gestures but big impact on attention to details and warm caring. Great place like home and a group of fantastic staffs. Will be back soon as still more attractions yet to visit in Xian.

Good housing environment

The room was upgraded to a junior suite with a birthday cake, which is much appreciated, and it indeed was a well-functioning and decorated living environment that suited us well. The small garden is also a resting place for walks for photos. Staff members are generally cordial and helpful. Swimming pool and the gym were not that big but seemed few people were using them, so still good enough. If there's anything that have room for improvement, I guess it was the delivery speed of some on-demand supplies such as drinking water and teabags, sometime taking as long as 20-30 minutes. Also the breakfast could have provided more choices, and the Chinese food restaurant was not as good as expected, which seems a bit fell behind luxury standards of its kind. Overall it's a good experience despite some small pities and we will choose it again for next visit to Xi'an.

I have been in and out of China since 1976, visiting all provinces including Tibet and have stayed at many fine hotels throughout the country. For many years my top choice was the Peace Hotel on Shanghai"s Bund. But since it opened The Peoples Grand Hotel has been my favourite hotel in China. Excellemy facilities, excellent location, a very stylish hotel very well managed with extremely efficient and very friendly staff.

I have stayed at this hotel for two wonderful nights I liked the design of the rooms and the hotel and its enclosures in general and I was pleased to welcome the staff and I was pleased with the way they treat me without hesitation and I recommend visiting this legendary hotel in every sense of the word.
