Stayed at the Sofitel Brisbane Central from 13 to 15 November and while the concierge staff were fantastic, I felt I was discriminated against in the lounge and bar. Only given canapes when I requested for them 30 mins later, whilst everyone else around me was being offered. Waited 32 mins for a cocktail to be made in the bar whilst the bar was empty and had no explanation for the wait. Lodged a formal complaint with the hotel on 20 November. Received a phone call at 7am on a weekend - 9 days later - to discuss further. I returned the call on Monday and have no reply since.

I understand how inconvenient and frustrating this must have been, especially when travelling for business and relying on simple comforts to make your stay easier. THIS STAY WAS CELEBRATING MY BIRTHDAY AND I COULD NOT HAVE WISHED FOR MORE. FRIENDS JOINED US FOR LUNCH, FAMILY CAME IN FOR DINNER WITH US, ALL THANKS TO THE LOCATION OF SOFITEL. WE WERE SO WELL LOOKED AFTER DURING OUR 3 NIGHTS STAY AND I WAS VERY MUCH SPOILT
