Everything about this hotel experience was great, from the friendly and seamless check-in to check out. The hotel common areas and my room were spotless. The daily breakfast was incredible with so many yummy choices. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. I travel a lot for business and this hotel is by far my favorite.

We had a very comfortable stay overall. The breakfast was great, the view was lovely, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The only minor issue was that two of the windows in our room (1060) were not clean enough, which slightly detracted from the great view. Aside from that, everything was wonderful!

This hotel was fine - the rooms were comfortable enough and clean. The breakfast wasn't great - items run out frequently and took a while to get replaced. Also not a huge variety. Service was very slow, too for anything we requested. Room service took over 45 minutes, new towels took a while. The iron/steam room had only 1 working iron and the steamer was always empty.

I stayed in a room with a sea view. Extremely pleasant, brand-new facilities, friendly staff, phenomenal location. The terrace view is simply amazing. The only issue I encountered was the gym. None of the treadmills were working.

You know what large chains can be like for consistency but I have to say I am rarely disappointed with Novotel or any Accor hotel. This was no exception. Nice hotel, large rooms and great facilities - a proper gym, lovely pool and probably the best shower I have ever experienced in a hotel - powerful and hot.

The hotel is clean and functional. Bar area nice but so uninviting. The hotel is losing revenue opportunity! Overall, there is a much better and non Accor hotel just a block away! As an Accor member I prefer the other hotel which is a shame!

This is a nice hotel in a great location. Walkable to many different restaurants and lots of retail. Its directly across the street from the bay with wonderful views. The staff are friendly and welcomimg. The breakfast buffet is also wonderful. I rated the hotel a 4 star because the tap water in Florianópolis is not drinkable, but the hotel does not provide complimentary bottled water for its guests. When I asked about drinking water, the front desk told me that it was "recommended that guests purchase bottled water." For $200 USD per night and a marketed 5-star hotel, I expect drinking water. I've traveled the world and this was the first time a hotel has not provided complimemtary drinking water where tap is not potable. Such a small gesture to have imprived guest satisfaction. Also, the wifi was very weak and didn't work at times. Doubtful I will stay at this Novotel again in the future. Most other hotels provide complimentary drinking water.
