Was OK - room very noisey and quite poor facilities for business travel (no iron in room)

No one speaks English and the rooms are very noisy with very poor windows and walls insulation.

Brief stay was met with clean room accommodations and very attentive reception staff, check-in & check-out were quite easy. Thoroughly enjoyed the view from the luxury room full view of the sea and nearby Didge Steakhouse Pub for live music.

The staff at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful, as well as the service team for the restaurant during breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the rooftop with the swimming pool enjoyable on the hotter days.

Especially the staff at reception was really friendly and helpful. I was given a comfortable and peaceful room with lovely bathroom. Hotel is in a very convenient location.

Very nice hotel, good room (althought one cannot watch TV if someone is using the table in front of it, therefore TV needed to be installed in a higher height). Speaking of TV, please make it easier to insert a HDMI cable on it. I had to ask a employee`s help for that mater. The only low point of the whole experience was that the rooftop (where is the swim pool + gym) opens at 7am (I guess) and closes at 11pm. It should be open all day and all night.

I am the manager of a team of engineers and I choose for my team 5 persons to stay at Novotel Overall I am Satisfied with the Hotel facilities, assistance, cleaning, breakfast and location Would like to raise a point for your knowledge that may be improved: The laundry service was disappointing for time and quality. I used the laundry services 2 times, at the first day and at morning before check-out day but it delay to return. The problematic situation was solved only after front-desk involvement. the laundry arrived clean but first time not well press and second time not press. The front-desk invited me to lunch to settle the issue. Overall the Hotel provided a very good experience.

I spent a week at Novotel Florianpolis and it was excellent. The room was clean and pleasant, the breakfasts wonderful, and the staff friendly and helpful. If I have one small suggestion for improvement, then it's this: the lighting in the room is a little bit dim, and it's very difficult to work out which switch controls which of the (many, but dim) lamps. An overhead light and some clear labelling of the switches would be helpful.

The room was very big with a beautiful view. That was a definite plus. The location was also excellent with lots of restaurants and shops close by. The University, where I had to go, was quite far, but it was easy to get a taxi. On the downside, the soundproofing (both inside and to the road) wasn't great and I was woken up very early. It was also disappointing to be told that the pool was closed when this was one of the reasons for booking. Breakfast was fine, but with no variation. Some boiled and fried eggs would have helped.

This was our first trip to Florianopolis and the Novotel exceeded our expectations in all aspects: very fairly priced, spacious clean room, breakfast with a wide selection (I'm gluten-intolerant and even I had a great variety of food), friendly professional staff (most of whom spoke English), central and safe location within walking distance of many fantastic restaurants/shopping/parks/museums. I will not hesitate to rebook should we be fortunate enough to get to return to Brazil.

I got a great room this time. The exercise room, though small, had everything I needed. The breakfast was excellent with many choices of what to eat. The reception was helpful and very kind to me. The only bad thing about staying at Novotel is the customer loyalty program. I used to constantly stay at an Accor Hotel, Novotel being one of them. For five years or so, I only stayed at Accor (Mercure and Novotel) and had accumulated may points during that period. My intention was to use my points with hotels in Europe. Last year, while in Europe, all I could get was a day and a half of free room in Germany. I was not staying at any fancy hotel in Munich. I was very disappointed in their loyalty program and felt cheated. I stopped staying at Accor hotels. This has been the first time I stayed at an Accor Hotel in the past two years. ------ Portuguese: Fiquei em um excelente quarto desta vez. A sala de exercício, apesar de pequena, tem tudo que uma pessoa precisa. O café da manhã teve diversas opções e foi excelente. A recepção foi prestativa e muito gentil para comigo. A única coisa ruim de ficar no Novotel é o programa de lealdade do cliente. Fiquei constantemente nos Hoteis Accor durante 5 anos. Novotel sendo um deles. Tive alta pontuação acumulada por cinco anos. Quando fui à Europa dois anos atrás, tudo que consegui foi um dia e meio de habitação em um Novotel. Náo era um hotel chique da linha Accor. Foi um hotel Novotel como qualquer outro, mas 1 1/2 dia de habitação por cinco anos de continua lealdade?. Fiquei muito decepcionado com o programa de lealdade deles e me senti lesado. Desde então não fiquei mais em Hoteis Accor.
