This was our second time staying here. Once again, we stayed for one night as a stopover while travelling. Even though it was late when we arrived, the lady at Reception was super friendly and helpful as we piled in with a dog and a baby in tow. In fact, the staff were friendly throughout. It is a truly dog friendly hotel. Our room had plenty of space for a cot and our dog. The shower was very good and powerful (always a bonus). The room was simple but seemed perfectly clean. There was plenty of parking and, although we didnt require one, we were impressed by how many electric vehicle charging spaces there were. Breakfast was a decent selection and there was everything we needed. It feels sometimes one can pay a small fortune for a decent hotel room but this proved to be value for money and you get what you pay for. Thank you and we hope to stay again next time.

Great hotel, very comfortable, good location with free parking

We had a very comfortable room, and the location is great (a pleasant stroll into town, just perfect after a good meal in town!). Staff is very pleasant. We took the option of extending the stay until 4pm for a €20 extra, it was really worth it for us. However 3 points: 1- the pavement from the hotel to the promenade is really bad, and we need to cross a quite busy road to access it. If you could put pressure on the town to make walking to town more comfortable and safe, it would be great 2- unlike most hotels, there is no tea or coffee facility in the room. That would be nice as after all, this Ibis is not the budget option 3- staff gathered at 7.30am just under our window (room 123) for quite a noisy chat, although I must stress they didn't shout just talked rather normally, but it woke us up. Is there a way to either mention this when we book the room (and give an alternative for those expecting a lie-in), or have the staff gather somewhere else, or reduce the noise?
