Lovely comfortable room. Basic but clean. Great sized shower! However badly fitting bathroom door so needed slamming each time and every time people in next room slammed their door (same problem!) it would reverberate through the wall!!! Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast! Comfortable bed but be aware sheets are only changed if you ask at reception for it. Plastic coated mattress protector so very hot to sleep on! Air conditioning not great as it seemed to reset the whole time.

Overall a positive experience. Arrived at 18:30, greeted with a smile. When we said that we had a booking the lady on reception greeted us by name. We were offered the opportunity to add breakfast to our booking, we did this. We were directed to a room on the ground floor, just off the lobby area. We were concerned about this but actually the room was very quiet with no noise transferring from the lobby/bar area. I suspect that this could be different on a busier day. Decided to go out for dinner and to explore the local area. Reception were able to advise an approximate time to walk to the harbour area. Outside of the hotel was great, very clean although not the nicest area with a busy road and no footpath or crossing. Plenty of parking at the hotel with good choice for ICE, BEV and PHEV vehicles as well as motorcycles. We were able to park close to the entrance, however the steps into the hotel were challenging. Room was clean and well equipped if a little small for three. No lock on the bathroom door was an annoyance as our six year old daughter was able to open the door while we were in the bathroom. Shower was OK. LED lights in the shower head were fun for my daughter. The main bed was very nice but the additional bed was very firm and not at all comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Good food and drink choices. Restocked immediately whenever any of the items were all gone. Upon leaving the hotel we saw a group of around 8 staff on cigarette break at the rear of the hotel. None of them looked very happy and they simply glared at us as we left.

The reception was not that friendly. The room had not been cleaned properly as we found things left by previous occupants and the shower head was broken.

We stayed for 4 nights, at the end of June, during the heatwave. The air conditioning was brilliant for the first two nights so much so that we woke up freezing cold! The last two nights it was as if the air conditioning was being controlled by the hotel and it was too warm to sleep comfortably. The hotel is a 5 minute drive to the centre of Honfleur

The Ibis Honfleur is a no-fuss, laid-back and relaxing hotel at a convenient price within easy walking distance of the town centre. The rooms are good, with a modern bathroom/shower room. There is no fridge or tea/coffee facilities in the room. We took our own facilities, so it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was both enjoyable and plentiful. All in all, the Ibis at Honfleur is good value for the price. I should add that the on-site parking is a real bonus.

Comfortable hotel, big bed, and good shower pressure. Stop overnight en route to Cherbourg ferry from the Netherlands. Free car park, no restaurant but a nice terrace from the bar. Used 1000 Accor points €20 so opted for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious. Great variety of cereals and fruit and cheese and cold meats.
