Nk Couples - Confirmed reviews ALL

Very easy check-in & lovely helpful receptionist. Room at the back is quieter & was clean. We couldn’t get breakfast as it was full at 9.30am on a Saturday & with several couples already waiting in the bar area. When I questioned why the second/back was not opened, the (different) receptionist was rather short, almost implying it was our fault & said “c’est l’heure de pointe”. I could have guessed that much myself, it’s probably the same every morning during the summer. More planning to accommodate all customers would have been better.

We like Honfleur and the Mercure is very well located so as to allow a experiencing the town without the need of a car and therefore the problem of finding somewhere to park. The Privilege Rooms have good views comfortable beds and walk-in showers. The fridge and complimentary soft drinks (including daily renewed fresh drinking water) are also a welcome touch. Better use could be made of the space inasmuch that the table is small which means the coffe machine and kettle, etc, take up most of it's space. In addition, like many hotels, the Mercure bedroom only has one armchair provided and for couples, this means that one person has to sit on the bed or on the pouffe/stool with no support for the back.
