A flight cancellation meant a late and last minute one night stay at Sydney Airport’s Novotel. Quick and easy to check availability and book online, welcomed warmly by reception staff and soon resting in a comfortable room. We had to be up and out early but enjoyed the included and plentiful buffet breakfast. Again, all staff members were friendly and professional.

Stayed for a single night before a morning flight. Very friendly staff. We had food from the bar menu. Was modest but decent other than the $26 “braised beef pie” that was a simple rectangle supermarket pie that you would be disappointed to buy from a petrol station let alone a four star hotel. The room was spacious but dated. Quite inferior compared to the Novatel Newcastle which we had stayed in the night before. I would stay here again as it was a reasonable price, however would describe the hotel more like a three star than four star until the rooms are refurbished.
