I booked in March 2024 a stay for 6 days in September 2024. Unfortunately due to a family celebration and a following Health recovery issue i was not able to use the 6 day stay and canceled the stay End May 2024. I politely asked the Hotel to cancel my reservation and refund my already paid amount. The stay did cost 1918 Euro of which the hotel refunded me 191,80 Euro. Never again will i book anything with Mercure / Arcor Hotels as their refund policy is a total scam. I will notify Customer Protection Services about these questionable practices. Its unthinkable that someone makes profit of someones emergency.

I stay here at least once a year. I ask this every time I do the feedback for this hotel, the bar is lovely alas us Brits are happy to pay for snacks, crisps, nuts etc..to accompany out drink. But does anyone actually read feedback, I am sensing not? Regards Chris

Basic hotel, not worth the premium price

This is a very basic hotel and certainly should not be charging a premium. It’s basically a 2* hotel which you should only use if you will spend the minimum time possible in your room, not need any other facilities during your stay and just need to walk across to the convention centre. I got charged EUR 684.00 for 2 nights and could have stayed in a design hotel with a bed twice the size (with a proper duvet, not two single duvets like they offer), a gym and offers good food all day and be in a nicer location. This hotel does offer an over priced EUR 24 breakfast should you be desperate. My bed sheets had dried blood on it which I discovered when I getting into bed but was too tired to go and try and get a replacement. The cleaner did see the blood the next day and changed the bed sheet before I returned to my room. Bar person was lovely. They just charged me more than double what the place is worth which I blame the hotel owner and Mercure brand team for allowing that to happen.

Stayed here for the marathon and the location was perfect. We also got to check in early which was greatly appreciated! I have nothing to complain about except the price of the breakfast which lead us to look elsewhere to eat.
