We were mostly satisfied with out stay in Hamburg‘s Ibis Budget. After one night with only one blanket, we asked the staff in the morning to have a second one on the room. After returning to the room in the evening, there still was only one blanket so I went down to the front desk getting it myself. Apart from that the service was fine and just what we needed for a weekend in Hamburg.

I am generally a very basic traveler, and Ibis always exceeds my my uncomplicated needs. The Sankt Pauli location is close to many attractions that I wanted to see, and it more than met my expectations.

I enjoyed staying at the Ibis budget Hotel, I came to Hamburg to see a show and the venue was 5minutes walk from the hotel so it was very convenient. The room was clean, bed comfortable and a very poweful shower, which I like.. The only thing I miss when I stay in this hotel is a kettle to make a cup of tea once back in the hotel after exploring during the day. This was my 2nd stay in Ibis hotel and I will probably stay again next time I am back in Hamburg.

Room was satisfying and clean. Not enough hooks or storage facilities. Even finding a spot for the second wet towel was an issue. Lighting concept fancy. In the morning the elevator and hallway were stained with food and drinks from resellers the previous night. In a district like this, the management should organise better cleaning service. The breakfast was uninspired, very basic and the hot drink not worth being called coffee. Way overpriced. A lot of space for improvement here.

It's our number one hotel in Hamburg, there maybe slightly cheaper hotels around the corner but we carry a combination of backpacks and cases and they have elevators. This year a friend of ours missed a connection to Wacken and it was easy to upgrade our room, she was very relieved.
