On arrival, the receptionist was not so friendly and welcoming but that is ok, everyone has bad days. The room was ok, the view was amazing but the bathroom was disgusting, toilet seat stained, floor is black in spots and there is black mold scattered all in the shower.

I booked through American Express and was unclear whether I received any of the benefits from that association—in fact it appears that the hotel does not acknowledge AMEX as a partner.

Good location close to town centre, with nice view of the Roman gate. Quite dated throughout, average breakfast, no fridge, the safe didn’t work. Helpful staff gave me good parking space.

Most unfriendly and rude welcome Dirty room with toe nails and hair of someone else. Broken light that going off in the evening. When shared feedback upon check out I got answered with "ah you were the one asking for an upgrade?", not thank you for the feedback or apologies for the inconvenience.

The room was very dark and very dated. The bathroom felt dirty it was so dated. Shower not the best.
