The first thing I noticed on entering the room was the smell of fried food, which lingered throughout my stay, I even smelt it on returning after breakfast the next morning. The bed was comfortable as was the temperature in the room but the shower wasn't great and when I leant over the sink I could faintly smell drains. The breakfast was nice and I liked the fact that the staff didn't clear away as soon as you got up; I often like to go back for more food leaving a half drunk cup of tea but staff (in other hotels) can be too quick to assume you've completely finished.

Toilet seat hadn't been cleaned and still had yellow pee marks on it. Odd red stain on the carpet under the desk. Ventilation/fan system didn't work. Extractor in the shower didn't work and was disgustingly covered in dust. Chromecast facility on the TV didn't work. Bed was comfy though and the breakfast was average.
