Not Good for a Sofitel

Renovation was taking place on half of the hotel to which we were not informed when making the booking. The Air Conditioning system was not functioning properly and was super super hot all night. We could not adjust the temperature. Just sweated all night, could not sleep. The Bathroom door was so tiny, approx 600mm wide and inconspicuous, it looked like a linen door. There were no free to air TV channels or movie channels. You had to log into your own media platform to watch News or Sports or a Movie. Elevators took forever as only 1 out of 3 were working. Staff were friendly and hospitable. Bed was comfortable. Location was fabulous. Extremely disappointed for a Sofitel.
