Damobau TripAdvisor review

This hotel is a budget hotel and nothing to get excited about but clean and tidy. The hotel does charge 5 star room rates when there is a struggle for rooms in Brisbane (yes demand) but offer nothing more. It is a bed and a shower nothing more.

This property is good for a short term stay, facilities are very old and could do with a refresh however bed and cleanliness is acceptable for the age of the property. Breakfast area a bit too cramped to accommodate the number of guests.

Have stayed here twice before. Booked and asked for a king room, ground floor at the back. Was advised by email no problem. On arrIval received key to 2nd or 3rd floor. Showed reception email. They had to finish cleaning downstairs room. They gave us the disabled room, which was very worn, dirty and should really not be suitable for any guests, compared to other rooms and definitely not what is shown on website. Kitchen was filthy, overflowing rubbish bins as was reception area. Maybe the young ones on reception should get off their phones and have some pride in their work environment.

I stay in many hotels. A stretch calling it a hotel. One of the worst stays. The room was dirty, smelt and given the price the experience overall just terrible. Even the general area was average in cleanliness
