Room - OK, but no wardrobe or drawers and no tez/coffee making facilities. Basic, but OK for what we needed I suppose. Rude man from reception had a go at us for getting tea bags out of cupboard at reception - if he had done HIS job we wouldn't have had to look in cupboard.

This is an extremely efficiently run hotel with friendly staff who work extremely hard. The rooms are small but perfectly comfortable and clean, and the location is handy for the city centre, the south side and the west end.

Check in went smoothly, check out was simple and straightforward. A blonde woman who worked at the desk was very friendly and helpful, although I didn’t catch her name. Definitely made the stay that much better as she went that extra mile to make sure we were comfortable.

The room is very basic indeed, but was very clean and so for somewhere to simply shower and sleep, it was perfectly fine. Plenty of on-site parking. Handy for the Hydro etc. but otherwise the area isn't great.

Absolutely completely different from what it shows on the pictures and on the website that is affiliated with on top of that the lights and the bad damp from the water that had come through underneath the floorboards and the panels was disgusting to only find that there is one plug socket in the far hand right hand corner and then there is no connection or plug socket to the left or right News

We had a booking for 2 adults and 1 child and got the room with third proper bed for child, but technically even adult can sleep on it! Comfortable mattress and convenient location as well! Corresponds to price!

One of the staff members was particularly very rude (and they were the one mostly at the reception). They were very unhelpful and disrespectful at times.

We entered from the bus stop on street behind the hotel. The area is very dirty and covered in various types of litter. We felt uncertain as to what the accommodation might be like. The decor in the hallways and reception area is dark and dull as are the carpets. Not welcome at all. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The room and beds were clean albeit very small. We were content with this considering the price if the room. The breakfast area is also very dull. We chose not to have breakfast but did use the tea facility. Again,we felt very uncomfortable when fellow customers entered the dining are wearing their pajamas and other nightwear and slippers. We are aware that the hotel was categorised as "Budget' but, we're not aware that it is being used to house people using the place as long term or temporary accommodation. I mentioned it to a staff member who assuerd me he had asked them a few times not to wear nightwear in the communal area but, he said "They just keep doing it". I have stayed in Ibis hotels a few times over the past couple of years and never felt so uncomfortable. We are aware of the situation regarding housing for people but, must we lower our standards, feel intimidated and accept this behaviour having paid for a stay in an Ibis hotel? Due to my previous experiences in Ibis hotels my freind was happy with my recommendation for our overnight stay in Glasgow. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to tell you of my experience, which was disappointing compared to my usual stays at Ibis.

I do not believe that wearing nightwear signifies that someone requires temporary accommodation. The guests mentioned were not wearing anything inappropriate in terms of nightwear, therefore, we did not make an ordeal of the matter. As well, our full team was in uniform, they wear blue t-shirts & sweatshirts with the logo as per the brand guides. Arrived at 3pm. Room wasn’t ready. Had to wait about 15 mins in reception for the rooms. Staying with my adult son in a triple room. Was expecting a double bed and a single bed in the room. What we got was the double bed with a single bunk bed across the bed. Son wasn’t chuffed about sleeping up there. Beds weren't to comfy either. Room was very small. At £90 for the 1 night I have stayed in better hotels for less money.
