The stay was ok, could have been better. Staff were helpful when assistance was needed. No phones in room. Swimming needed to be booked in advance, we weren't made aware of this as 30 minute slots due to how busy it was. The travel cot had to be replaced as there was a large missing slat in which my child would have partially fallen through if I didn't notice. Luckily they had another brand new travel cot, not sure how house keeping missed this. Also one of our rooms had previous customers clothes in it and the drawers hadn't been cleaned. Wonder what else wasnt cleaned however the rooms on surface level seemed clean. To be honest the hotel needs to be refurbished as very outdated. Not sure I'd stay here again, only did so because of the pool and kids.

A special shoutout to Anusila for always making us feel so welcome whenever we visit for a break. I would also like to extend special recognition to Sitesh for personally checking and ensuring that the dinner menu did not contain nuts, as my daughter has a nut allergy. From a staff perspective, the service was excellent. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was disappointing on this occasion. My family and I visit your hotel regularly, over 15 times in the past few years, so it was disappointing to see that salmon was no longer available. As a Muslim family, there are many breakfast items we are unable to eat, such as bacon, sausages, ham, and pepperoni. Salmon had always been a welcome and inclusive option, and it was something we genuinely appreciated in the past. I am unsure whether salmon has been removed from the menu as a cost saving measure or if it was temporarily unavailable. If it is the latter, it reflects very poor contingency planning. It would be greatly appreciated if salmon could be reinstated, as many guests do not consume pork products and rely on suitable alternatives.

Staff- Pleasant enough, bar staff struggled with English which made things slightly challenging. Upon check-out reception just asked our room number and took our key, no asking how our stay was etc. Building- looking tired, room was a good size but again could do with a bigger TV and just modernised. Ambiance- Very very noisy, kids running up and down the corridors till gone midnight. Not very relaxing at all. Overall- Wouldn't recommend nor would we stay at a Novotel Hotel again, very poor experience.
