The hotel is in a great location, over looking the Albert Dock, but with enough sound proofing not hear the road. For car parking, that's pretty good. As we're a family of four and each room holds two, we booked two rooms. These were allocated next to each other, at the end of a corridor, which was great. Sadly, one of them had faulty air conditioning, either full cold or full heat. The other room sounded like there was rushing water (not sure if this was from the neighbours bathroom or AC) through out the night, which combined with the solid bed made for an uncomfortable night. Sadly, the shower offered no respite, the streams going in multiple directions. One of the rooms down the corridor reeked of cannabis, but not strong enough to relax us.

very friendly welcoming staff, i had requested a room in a certain area which they had sorted, room clean, shower a "pod" but very large, plenty of hot water, comfy bed, everything you need for a short stay ..

Whilst the room is basic, it was clean but had everything I needed although a hand towel would have been nice. It was only a short walk to a conference I was attending. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. I had 2 evening meals and appreciated being able to select both items that were neither meat nor had high levels of spice. Both were delicious and hope they remain on the menu for a while.
