Quick check-in and check out, helpful staff. Booked into premium room with access to premium club. Well worth the cost. Avoid the buffet in the revolving restaurant. It was dreadful. Meant to be seafood but was the worst buffet I have ever been to.

Good location, excellent service, the pool and the fitness centre are excellent too.

I have stayed at the hotel three times in the last six months, and I will be traveling back to Shanghai in the next few weeks and will be staying at the hotel again, the staff make you feel you are home, so friendly , so helpful,

Staff were all very friendly- but need to improve in cleanliness of toilet- I think the toilet bowl had been “ dried cleaned” and not cleaned with water and disinfectant - bad smell

Some great parts & some things we were very disappointed about. Great customer service most of the time but disappointed about the ACCOR membership twice where the meal cost more & was charged differently to what we understood was how the meals should be charged. We were not informed of any of these things until we were charged and queried the manner in which we were charged. Le Gourmet is considered one of the hotel's restaurants, but changed differently. The buffet on the top floor as well! Also, the Buffet Breakfast was cold, overcooked (hash browns couldn't even cut them), tasteless. Le Gourmet set breakfasts were much better but then we were charged more! Disappointing!

Kindly be assured that we have already discussed this matter with our Executive Chef, who has already conducted training for his staff members again and will keep monitoring the quality standard, so that you will have a better feeling and dining experience in your future visits. With regard to the meal charge, members receive up to 50% discount when dining buffet breakfast in The Square Coffee Shop (2/F) or buffet dinner in Art50 Revolving Restaurant (50/F). The dining discount will be deducted depending on the number of adults dining: 25% off for 1 adult dining, 50% off for 2 adults dinging, 33% for 3 adults dining, 25% off for 4 adults dining etc. For a la carte in Le Gourmet, the members will be entitled for 15% off, food only. That obviously was caused by the English standard of our staff members in general. We have already discussed this matter with the head of department and will look into all possible ways to improve the communication ability of our staffs. In your future visits, kindly contact our Restaurant Managers who will be happy to assist. We have taken note that you had not rated the speed of wifi connection so high. We have checked the equipment in the hotel and do not find any defect. The problem might be due to web access control in China as the speed of international sites can be slower than domestic sites. For your next visit, if you encounter any internet problem, please contact us directly, so that we can look into the cause and to fix it. I have been staying at the Novotel Shanghai Atlantis 3 times a year for almost 10 years now. I feel like it is a second home for me. I know all the staff at this hotel and they greet me by name every morning and evening. I own 4 companies and I am always busy and on the go on these business trips to China. This hotel is extremely accommodating and unbelievably helpful in whatever I am asking them about.

We had the most comfortable stay àt Novotel Shanghai during the weekend of the 10th of January 2020. At the time of checking in we were pleasantly surprised to be offered to stay at an upgraded room on the 33rd floor. The view from the room was fantastic. The room was neat and very beautiful. The revolving restaurant had a live band performing who sang a special Indian song for us. We were very touched. Getting taxi to move around was not difficult either. Thank you Novotel Atlantis for making our stay so pleasant.

What a fantastic team you have in Shanghai! Service is excellent, the pool is fabulous, the views are great...the room seems a bit outdated at first but it's really comfortable and quiet. The buffet breakfast is to die for, I just find it a tad too expensive (in line with all the rest of big hotels). Apart from that, I totally recommend staying there. We will come back

The hotel is great and the price is very reasonable. The revolving restaurant at the 50/F offers perfect view, however, the windows were dusty obstuctiing the view. The temperature inside room is too hot, no fresh air and we ended up requesting to open the windows. Staff from Reception (Vicky), Premier Lounge (Hebe) are few to name and offered friendly services.

Excellent Services, but room and lift need to be updated

Even though I have a short stay, but the hotel did gave me nice and wonderful experience. First of all, I wanna give kudos and applause from the conceirge team to the premier lounge team. They are all very friendly, and giving me assistance as quick as they can. Thanks to Elva from the Premier Lounge, 5 month pregnant mummy working with very good and positive attitude towards all the lounge guest. She and her colleague, Jenniffer is ensuring all the premier lounge guest having a very good breakfast in the morning. Pros:- All the staff are very friendly and approachable. I have been arrange with the corner superior room Executive Floor which is bigger compare to the normal superior room. Thanks for the upgrade whereby I have the view of the of the city and Huangpuriver together. Cons:- I think the lifts and the rooms need to be renovated again. For the safety, especially the lifts is superb shaky. Nevertheless, is still a pleasant stay. I will definitely choose Novotel Shanghai Atlantis again for my next stay. 50ArtRestaurant:- Very good ambience, food is ok, but can have more international choices. Premier Lounge & 2nd floor restaurant:- Breakfast is good with variety choices.p

Feeling warm welcome & hospitality from Ms. Vicky Tan at the Reception. Also, Hebe from the 48/F lounge treated guest from her heart and always smiling on her face... Feels great staying at this property. The Revolving Restaurant at the 50/F was great experience, with live band, the view from the restaurant was great, however, the windows were bit dirty. However, rooms are a bit outdated, which may require some re-furnishing in future.

View was ok. However the breakfast was not what expected

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations in particular with the breakfast; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. We have already discussed this matter with our Executive Chef who is very concerned on the food quality and surely we will find all possible ways for further improvement.
