I needed a weekend break/business meeting and as I know ACCOR well from the Gulf region I decided to try one in Shanghai. Everywhere was quiet, hardly anyone in the hotel and no bar to relax in after a 10 hour trip, same everywhere here I presume.

We have taken note that you had not rated the check in experience so high, some guests jump in the queue. Please accept my sincerest apologies. Kindly be assured that we have already discussed this matter with our Director of Rooms concerned and actions will be taken immediately to improve the lobby management. I am sorry for the bad smell from the bathroom, kindly let us know in your future visits if this happened again, so that we can take action immediate to find out its source and to arrange another room for you. With regard to the service hour for the bar, we will look into the possibility to extend its opening hour. Good view in the room that can have a look at the Huangpu river. But my room is not facing the river directly, hence just can see the river itself only instead of good night views. The hotel facilities look a little bit old, but good enough anyway. Little disappointed about the breakfast, which seems even not as good as ones in Mercure hotels.

We had a two-night stay with the family. Location is good, especially if are keen to walk. Two blocks away from the East Bund, and about 30 minutes walk from the PuDong shopping area. Rooms were OK, not too large, and the staff was fantastic! Really friendly and helpful with bookings and tips. Great thanks to Beatriz Mir Carmona - Guest Relation Mgr - and her staff! Breakfast was so-so, both breakfast and in the lounge. No refill (bircher müsli) and boring dry bread during the last hour of breakfast made it difficult to fill yourself up. The western food alternatives (pancakes and french toast) needs another recipe. We are usually spoiled by the good standard of Accor breakfast buffés, but this was really a disappointment. I guess the pandemic has taken its toll. Pool was OK, but the water was too cold in the hot tub/jacuzzi.

A pleasant way to spend the October holiday in Shanghai. The hotel is in an ideal location within walking distance of the pearl tower and pudong subway station allowing for easy access to the city.

The shower spray is not working, and we call the staff to repair. It didn't work.

It is my first time to stay in this hotel although I have been using Accor hotels in most of the places I travel. Generally speaking this is a satisfactory stay in your hotel. The front desk staff both foreign and local are friendly and efficient. The room was clean and quite. Location-wise, although it is not in the center of the city, close to the riverside is a nice point.... I will come back again! Thank you.

Quick check-in and check out, helpful staff. Booked into premium room with access to premium club. Well worth the cost. Avoid the buffet in the revolving restaurant. It was dreadful. Meant to be seafood but was the worst buffet I have ever been to.
