the pillows are terrible i woke up with neck pain. the breakfast is deteriorated no variety in choices of cheese nor dessert there are no muffin or tarte no choices of coffeee. The smell is nasty, no choices for salty food only pastries, you have to me more generous

This hotel is absolutely not worth 5 stars. The only thing I appreciated is the hotel giving me an upgrade to the suite and offering free breakfast but that is only because I booked the presidential suite on the website and they had told me that was unavailable for my stay. Upon check in, the reception gave me an accessible room with welcome amenities along with a letter that did not even have my name on it. Strange! I requested a room change because I do not like staying in an accessible room. They downgraded to a deluxe room with a strong smell of cigarette. At that point, I was just tired and not going to bother changing room again. The light bulb in the room was even broken so I called reception to send a maintenance guy to fix it. The real shocker was when I attempted to order room service at 11pm. The guy taking the order was very rude and had no manners. He informed me that there are only 4 items on the menu at that time and took my order without even confirming at the end of the call. He just hung up and decided to start preparing the order without my consent. Upon delivery, the guy just barged into my room with his employee key card. I was very furious. He argued that this door is a hallway door but that was not what I was informed of when I received my room. I told him I was going to take this matter to higher management in the morning and until then, he was willing to apologize for his misconduct. Ridiculous! He also tried to force me to pay for the room service bill with my credit card because apparently no deposit was found for my room (I did pay a deposit fee for my stay). I was rejecting the order and that was when he asked me to sign the bill. Wow! The towels in the bathroom also had dirty stains on them which grossed me out. The area is a great place but not great if you are sightseeing Paris. It is quite a train ride away. Even if I am returning to La Defense, I will not be returning here. The price at this hotel was also not cheap, it was overpriced but because of it being advertised as 5 stars. I was expecting to pay that price and the money will make up for it.
