The hotel was ok. A bit expensive, but the room was big and clean, the reception was helpful, the breakfast was luxurious, and the view and the spa was nice. We found the personnel in the restaurant not very welcoming. Not really service with a smile, a bit pushy where you may take place, and at the breakfast not very aware if something is out. There is a room for handicapped people, but strangely enough, it's very far away from the entrance of the hotel and there is an extra door in the hallway, that's too difficult to open for a person in a wheelchair! At least install an electric opener there. The bath chamber looked like one in the hospital. That could easily be spiced up, to meet the high standard of the bath chamber for handicapped people in the spa.

Customer relation with this hotel was perfect. Very good contact to prepare our stay (group of 20 cyclists) in the best circumstances. Our welcome was very well personalized. Meals (breakfast and dinner) were of very good quality, and for our cyclists also good in quantity ! Quit rooms with good beds. Balcony available with view on the mountains - excellent !

Five friends and I spent an excellent few days in this wonderful hotel. Firstly the booking and liaison with the hotel staff (Anna) was faultless. Upon arrival every member of staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable and easy. Our focus of the trip was to do some of the iconic Tour de France mountains and the hotels location didn’t disappoint. Everything was a stones throw away. The staff catered for our trip, ensuring that we were fed and watered. I cannot comment highly enough on the food at this hotel. It’s simply stunning. We were fully fuelled each day with a lovely buffet breakfast. The evening meal was top notch with a large selection, from a BBQ to a nice buffet (3-4 deserts!!). The rooms were spacious with a great shower and a nice balcony. Bike storage was perfect in a basement lockup. If you are looking to do Azet, Peyresourde, Peyragudes, Horquette, Apsin, Pla d’Adet etc then this is a great base. I’m sure we’ll be back and will make use of the spa facilities next time. We stayed here 4 nights. Best part of this hotel was the food - it was a buffet but very good. We had excellent dinners and breakfast was also good. Our room was also quite large. The lobby area was nice and well appointed with places to sit, bar area, etc. All that good. The room itself was clean but tired - could use a face lift. There are roll down metal shutters to cover the big sliding glass windows into the room - presumably to keep the heat out as no AC or anything like that. It was quite warm when we returned after the day. We slept with window open and fan on us. Bed was comfortable. A decent - basic - hotel with very good food.
