We had a comfortable room but although we paid for 3 people to share, we were given items for 2 people in the room like water, toiletries etc. We didn’t have a good experience with the food as the first 3 days the dinners arrived cold and a couple of the staff were unfriendly. The food was great except for the cold including breakfast which was cold. If it was not for Oliana and the Reception Staff Andriy and a couple others who were very helpful, respectful and friendly to us, it would have been a miserable experience.

I stayed at this hotel because of the Mercure Brand that I have used before in other locations. The hotel location is only several hundred meters from the entrance to Lourdes grounds. It is very convenient when you want a rest and close by after the procession at night.

The only negative thing we experienced was the hotel closed the door at 12 and we had to call for it to be opened and once or twice we had a long wait and the guy who opened it was not very friendly or nice. It was like we were an inconvenience for him.

Two little incidents frustrated me and wife during our stay in this hotel where we used to come since at least 5 years every summer. We were not able to have a dinner at the hotel restaurant not because we came late but because the waitress refused to accept us due to lake of staff to serve and the same night we tried to have a drink at the bar as nd we were told that it was exceptionally closed earlier because of an outside situation in the city. No one has communicated about these 2 situations before. This is frustrating

We do, however, take note of your comment regarding communication. In such situations, our team remains available to explain what is happening and answer any questions our guests may have. Sometimes, simply asking at reception allows us to find an alternative solution or provide the necessary information. Mercure Lourdes was a fantastic a hotel. We love every bit of this place. From checking in, to welcome drinks and to our room. Our balcony was overlooking the mountain and river. It was such a beautiful place and scenery. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Mercure was welcoming from the time we checked in. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were clean, spacious and love our view from the balcony. I would come back and stay here.

My husband and I were welcomed by the reception staff and the guy Lou was extremely friendly and helpful. We booked dinner for 7pm but the service staff at the restaurant were not friendly. We felt that because we didn’t speak French they ignored us. My husband and I were waiting about 40 minutes to take our order. The short male staff was chatting with a guest who came after us. We ordered the set menu but had to leave without having the dessert because they were taking so long to serve us. That was very disappointing. Even when we went for breakfast it was the same staff and we were treated the same. I am an Accor gold member and have never experienced this before.

The hotel is located 5min from the basilica. It has a paid private parking just behind the building. The room was quite spacious with a mini fridge and tea kettle. The staff was very friendly, professional, welcoming and polite.

It was a beautiful warm night in April when we were there. I could not get the air conditioning to work. Reception told me that the Manager had not switched it on yet. Further pushing was futile. It was after 1am before I finally went to sleep. Really really bad treatment by this hotel.
