We are pleased to see that you appreciated your room, cleanliness, Wi-Fi and the quality of your arrival, as well as the overall value for money. Regarding the restaurant, during the high season our dining room is very busy, which is why we strongly encourage our guests to reserve their table in advance. This allows us to organise the service properly and ensure the best possible experience for everyone. As for the bar, the exceptionally early closing was linked to the very high level of activity in Lourdes during this period and circumstances outside the hotel. We do, however, take note of your comment regarding communication. In such situations, our team remains available to explain what is happening and answer any questions our guests may have. Sometimes, simply asking at reception allows us to find an alternative solution or provide the necessary information. We are sorry to see that these two situations affected your perception of your stay, particularly given your long-standing loyalty to our hotel. the only thing I did not like is the ordering taxi for the airport on leaving. They said the taxi would cost 40 EUR and in fact costed more than 51 EUR..... This is realy not OK!

Mercure Lourdes was a fantastic a hotel. We love every bit of this place. From checking in, to welcome drinks and to our room. Our balcony was overlooking the mountain and river. My husband and I were welcomed by the reception staff and the guy Lou was extremely friendly and helpful. We booked dinner for 7pm but the service staff at the restaurant were not friendly. We felt that because we didn’t speak French they ignored us. My husband and I were waiting about 40 minutes to take our order. The short male staff was chatting with a guest who came after us. We ordered the set menu but had to leave without having the dessert because they were taking so long to serve us. That was very disappointing. Even when we went for breakfast it was the same staff and we were treated the same. I am an Accor gold member and have never experienced this before.

The hotel is located 5min from the basilica. It has a paid private parking just behind the building. The room was quite spacious with a mini fridge and tea kettle. The staff was very friendly, professional, welcoming and polite.

It was a beautiful warm night in April when we were there. I could not get the air conditioning to work. Reception told me that the Manager had not switched it on yet. Further pushing was futile. It was after 1am before I finally went to sleep. Really really bad treatment by this hotel.

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The front desk staff were very friendly, helpful, pleasant and professional. The restaurant experience was definitely not 4 star. The quality of the dinner was very good. The breakfast offering, not that good. The server we had on our first 2 nights, Victoria, was excellent. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about our last night. The service was extremely slow. We had a booking at 19:00, and were served our main course at 20:15! Our food arrived cold at the table.

The rooms wee clean and comfortable. Good and fresh linen always and well cleaned up everyday. For a non French speaking visitor like me the staff were always willing to switch to English and it was very useful making my stay very comfortable and convenient.
