Had an excellent nights stay. In Check in requested a taxi booking for next morning. At breakfast confirmed that it was ordered. Reception staff showed me where the taxi would pick me up from. Very helpful

I did an online check-in and it asks for your expected arrival time. The hotel website does say that is open from 06:00-22:00 They give you a code that then opens your hotel room door. It also got emailed to me as well. On check-in asked if they cook book a taxi the following moring. At Breakfast, which started at 06:30, double checked taxi booking was in place. Five minutes before booked time reception staff very kindly let me know that the taxi was on its way and showed me where to meet the driver outside. Short-trip and I was at the airport to get my flight back. Staff very helpful and courteous

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely girl at reception. She spoke good English and offered us a map with local amenities. What we liked about our stay at the Ibis hotel was it's safe free parking, nice bar and restaurant nearby. Breakfast was continental and adequate. Bed comfortable and room clean. A great overnight stay as our halfway point on way to Bilbao.

We arrived late, just before 10pm. The staff member initially refused to check us in saying that as the gates were closed the hotel was closed. Note on the booking confirmation the hotel shows as being open 24 hours, and it doesn't show an end time for check-in. Hence we were unaware the hotel closes at 10pm. In any event we arrived at 9:55, and had tried ringing the hotel 5 mins before this to advise them we would be arriving very soon. We subsequently discovered the hotel made a single attempt to contact us at 9:20pm. They didn't leave a message and rang from a mobile number not affiliated with the hotel. The staff member was rude and willing to turn away a mother and her two children. I persisted and reluctantly he checked us in. Needless to say this is the last time I will stay here!
