Facilities were fine but the building is certainly aging. It was disappointing that hair (perhaps pubic) was found in the shower area.

Finding hair in the shower—especially of that nature—is completely unacceptable and far below our standards. Please accept my sincere apologies. Food was lovely, service was good only issues was the construction noise which is something that the hotel had no control over.

Good location, great staff at the front desk and also the staff who did the rooms. But the rooms are very dated, needs a complete renovation. Seems like some of the tiles where dirty or just worn so badly that they looked that way. Shower terrible. Space in the rooms were good and the bed was very good, so obviously the mattress has been replaced, but the rest not so good. Expect more from Novotel and did not meet the standard of other Novotel hotels.

Our stay in Canberra was extremely pleasant. Friendly staff at check-in as we first walked in. Our rooms were very spacious and beds were comfortable (sofa beds were made as requested). We had breakfast the second morning and the host was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast food was very good except the pastries were very stale. Will definitely want to stay again when in Canberra.

The Novotel Hotel in Canberra is centrally located on Northbourne Ave. The City Centre is a short walk. The Rooms are fairly basic but clean. The Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast ha a good election and was included in the tariff. There is a gym and pool on the 2nd floor. A restaurant on the 1st floor. The staff were helpful and very accomodating. The Novotel is a good 3 Star hotel. I would certainly stay there gain as it is very good value
