Overall positive experience. Hotel was easy to get to, has ample parking, check in was easy using kiosk even when front desk was closed. Check out was a breeze too by just leaving door closed behind us. Room has everything we needed but somehow just seems to be missing something. Perhaps the room floor not being carpeted caused that. Carpeting the floor could have made the room feel much nicer than the linoleum flooring.

The room was next to the extremely noisy elevator

I had stayed at this hotel before and everything went well and that is why I decided to go back. But this time was terrible. The room was just next to the elevator and it made a lot of noise all night. It was hard to sleep. I was very dissapointed.

commuting is a big problem to the city of Cannes, taxis take lot of time to reach and are very expensive. food is also not available at the hotel, no eating joints around, rooms had insects, and the location is very secluded and dint feel secure.

Plenty of parking, out of hours check in was easy, plenty of choice at breakfast service, room was simple but comfortable the only issue which would put me off booking again was the strong smell of smoke in the room, just as well I'm not asthmatic!

Ten of us stayed for a family wedding nearby. Ages ranged from 13 to 88 . We all had a great time, staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfast was great value and there were areas where we could all gather together in a relaxed environment.

We checked in late through the computer outside the reception which was closed. It was a two days stay so the next morning I went to the reception to pay for the second day. The staff there just received the payment with credit card. He didn't asked for the passports, he didn't even ask if everything is ok. It looked like all he wanted is the payment and nothing else. He didn't give info about check-out policy, breakfast, etc. I know such info is written somewhere in the room. This was my first time at an Ibis Hotel and I am somewhat disappointed with the lack of communication between staff and customers.

Incorrect room type reserved resulting in additional expense

Arrived after reception hours and used screen to cofirm previous online booking. I am 66 and was travelling with daughter 43 so had booked triple family room to enable separate beds. System had reserved a double-bedded room so then had to buy a further room via screen to meet our needs for the night. Complaint made via Accor webformsy over 4 days ago (promises reply within 48 hours) but still no reply at time of writing. Have used Ibis in UK without problem so disappointed with this experience.

Room was very good. Very cheap. Criticism is with the hotel group for not letting me know there were no staff for most of the time and all was done by code. Fine once I knew but disconcerting when 8 arrived and ostensibly the place was closed
