Our ferry arrives in Travemünde late in the evening. Ibis Lübeck City is a nice place to have a rest. The receptionist is as well a barman. Thus you can have a late night drink no matter if your ferry was delayed due to bad weather. Breakfast is abundant with excellent breads. You can bake wafers for yourself.

A good and practical hotel for a short stay in Lubeck. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and bery helpful many thanks to Moises). The hotel is not directly in the Old Town, but the location is convenient and the city centre is within walking distance. Their parking is also good, located underground. Nothing luxurious, but a reliable Ibis offering everything needed for a comfortable stay and good value for money. I would stay here again, the bed was really comfortable and room was very clean!

Dear ibis Lübeck City Management Team, I would like to share our very positive experience during our recent stay at ibis Lübeck City and, in particular, express my sincere appreciation for Mr. Jakob Hoff. When we arrived, I realized that I had accidentally prepaid our Booking.com reservation with my personal card instead of my company business card. I therefore asked whether it would be possible to cancel the original reservation and make a new booking directly with the hotel. The reception team was extremely friendly and willing to help, but the situation was rather unusual. Jakob was called to assist us, and from the very first moment his calm and confident approach reassured me that we would find a solution. He immediately understood what needed to be done and clearly guided both me and the reception staff through the necessary steps. The process turned out to be quite complicated and took approximately an hour, involving the Booking.com cancellation, confirmation of the free cancellation, a new direct reservation, membership registration and payment. Throughout the entire process, Jakob and the reception team remained remarkably patient, friendly and professional. I was already very impressed by Jakob’s knowledge and ability to resolve a complicated situation so efficiently. However, what impressed me even more was seeing him again the following morning during breakfast. I watched Jakob actively helping the kitchen and breakfast staff, clearing dishes and assisting his colleagues wherever needed. The same kindness, patience and respect he had shown us the previous evening was equally visible in the way he treated his colleagues and every hotel guest, from small children to adults. For me, this is what exceptional hospitality and leadership look like. Jakob combines professional competence with genuine kindness, humility and respect for both guests and colleagues. People like him are the reason guests remember a hotel positively and want to return. I therefore wanted to make sure that the management of ibis Lübeck City is aware of what an exceptional employee you have in Jakob Hoff. If ibis or Accor has an employee recognition programme or annual award for outstanding service, I would sincerely like to recommend Jakob for such recognition. Based on what we personally experienced and observed, he truly deserves it. Please also extend our thanks to the wonderful reception team who assisted us that evening. Overall ok as a normal hotel. Bad AC, I was sweating at night. The pillow was too soft. I told the receptionist about these things but he couldn't do anything about it. No minibar or fridge.

The accomodation was clean and everything was ok, breakfast was also good! But the room was more of a Ibis budget than an normal Ibis. Also, I asked to print a one page document my work sent me last minute, they didn't want to print it, even when I said it was no problem paying for it. The towels were also very worn off, you could hear the conversations from other rooms as well as the steps from the person on the room above, and the door didn't had a lock, so I also felt a bit unsafe. I know it's still an economy hotel, but it was below the standards. That's not what I expect when I book an Ibis.

Very comfortable and clean rooms with a good bed and working place. Parking place is available and just 10 min by bus to the city center. Ideal location for guests with a car. Really fantastic breakfast with great assortment and quality. Good Wi-Fi. The street is quite loud, so if you have windows on the street you need to keep them closed.

This Ibis is conveniently situated off the A1 and yet walking distance into Lubeck. The manager was really helpful- i checked in early and he found a room that was ready. In the morning he opened breakfast for me early. This Ibis has secure underground parking.

The Ibis in Lübeck was a good hotel located about 15 minutes walk from the station and 25 minutes from the city centre. Busses stopped right outside and the bus stop into town was just across the road at a car dealership. There was a supermarket at the bus stop as well which was open until 8pm. The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly and I slept well at this hotel. All the facilities functioned well. The breakfast choice was okay and all in all I was very satisfied with the comfort and overall service at this hotel. I went into town and there was a good selection of restaurants near the Holstentor, which is a very nice part of town. I would stay there again.
