Queue to check at around 10pm . Faced with THE rudest receptioist i have ever encountered. Being told you had to pay an extra 100 euros ( she said it should ne 400) as a security deposit for your room to ensure your room. I pointed out we have already paid up front..we were met with her saying "no extra deposit i am refusing to give you your room key". At that point she removed her sparkly named lanyard !She didnt like the fact we paid cash for our tourist tax as it meant she had to move to fetch a cash box. Refused a printed receipt and scribbled on a post it note. She also told us she never spends this long checking in guests and would we move away from her desk!. She ibviosly received a suitable reply!! Eventually we arrived in our room. Clean and comfy. Kettle and coffee provided but no tea or milk. Paper cups. Hotel is in a fab position 5 min walk from the eifel tower . You have a spectacular view every time you leave the hotel. Didnt have breakfast as 20 euros per day. Did have evening meal hear which was 3 times cheaper than restaurants in the close area. The food was good quality and served by a very nice polite gentleman . I wojld recommend the hotel as it is modern and clean a very close to tge stop of the hop o hop off tourist bus and the start of the River cruises. Just hope your not met by the very rude receptionist !

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, paying a rate that is far from cheap, yet the service was nothing short of appalling. Not a single staff member bothered to help with our luggage upon arrival—even though it was pouring in Paris that day. Throughout our stay, we tried calling reception multiple times for assistance, and not once did anyone pick up. When I finally went downstairs myself, the excuse I got was, “We were in a briefing.” Seriously? For every single call we made? And as if that weren’t bad enough, the final insult came at checkout. I requested help with our luggage and was told, “No luggage staff available, you can use the trolley yourself.” So apparently, at this overpriced hotel, guests are expected to play bellboy. We ended up hauling everything ourselves, trolley and all, while managing a 1-year-old child. Completely unacceptable and absolutely not the level of service this hotel pretends to offer. The only redeeming part of this entire stay was Kate, who was the sole staff member willing to help us with our luggage going to our room upon check-in. Aside from her, the rest of the staff were indifferent, unwelcoming, and frankly, unprofessional.

There was a mix up with rooms. A colleague of mine had a room with a note for me, with my name on it and a hotel gift. Also my room was not really clean, the carpet and the toilett especially.

Amazing hotel location with an unforgettable view. Rooms could use a little work but otherwise a great stay! We stayed in the same room 2 1/2 years prior and nothing had been updated to include a badly sliding door. But still a great stay and worth it for the view and location! Comfortable beds!
