Bedding too soft . Pillows much too soft and no neck support

The hotel sits directly at Rhine river and offer fantastic views over the Rhine valley and the beautiful castle. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. We have booked tow rooms. The rooms are clean and the matresses were comfortable. A good hotel to spend time if you are in Koblenz.

Service in dinner was slow, most likely because of the lack of personnel. One person working and restaurant was more or less full.

We had a room on the 7th floor facing the Rhine river upstream. The room was toward the river end of the hallway so we had a fantastic view. The room itself was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom roomy. There's a cage in the garage for locking up your bicycle. We compared cost with the downtown Ibis and concluded for this particular day the view and room size were worth the extra €10. We didn't take breakfast as it's not worth the added cost.

We have stayed at the Mercure Hotel Koblenz several times. The past year has been difficult for all to travel with Covid. The hotel is responsible currently in requiring to see our vaccination certificates and requiring masks be worn inside. We were happy to see that the restaurant and bar were open again. The location by the river is enjoyable and the view from the privilege rooms a plus. Walking into the city is easy. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. Parking is available for a fee yet convenient. We would have stayed another night but the hotel was full so others must also find the hotel and location desirable.

We had a 3 day stay in Koblenz and the Mercure hotel is a great place to stay. Not in the middle of the Center but right at the edge and everything is within a 15-10 min walking distance. Hotel has a nice lobby bar. We didn't use the restaurant. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Value for money was good. Special discouinted parking fee in underground garage @ €13/night.

Location is excellent. Bathroom had mould. Nothing was done about it during our stay. Supposedly couldn't be dealt with...

Old elevator, was afraid it might get stuck. Free water bottle in room was already open and half empty. Room smelled like old hotel. Bathroom lights were dark. Hair dryer from last century. The view was nice.

Bad Service, AC not working, no compensation, no reaction

Check in Bad, extra charge for second person (they also lied to us that this is mandatory in every Hotel in the World), AC not working, no other room available, no compensation, they offered breakfast for free but we are not the breakfast people and we did not have enough time. Overall very dissapointing and a very good reason not to stay at Accor properties.

Disappointing experience - typical average German service treatment.

We had to stay here one night prior to departure flight. We checked in after 01:00 a.m. and out the same morning by 10:00. No late-night arrival benefits, no service, no help with our 130kg of luggage. Aloof and arrogant front desk staff during check-out. The only positive aspect about this disappointing stay was the friendly night manager who minimized check-in bureaucracy due to our late arrival. Our worst Accor experience in about a decade.

The hotel is situated right on the river and has a terrace for some food and drink. The staff were very welcoming and the hotel has excellent hygiene and cleanliness procedures for the Corona pandemic. The internet was easy to use and adequate. An enjoyable stay in these difficult times.

Due to the Covid-19 regulations, the rooms were not entered by service personnel during the 14-day stay. Therefore the rooms and litter bins were not cleaned during the complete stay in the hotel. At the end of the first week we therefore asked to change the rooms, which was finally carried out. New towels and toilet paper had to be picked up at the reception itself (Less comfort).

The hotel is located near the shore of the Rhein river and it is therefore very neer restaurants and prime sights in Koblenz, The hotel offer nice rooms with good views. The breakfast is very good and there were only a few restrictions due to the situation with the Covid-19 outbreak. These restrictions were the use of face masks whenever your are in the buffet and limited self-service. There is a paid parking oportunity just below the hotel, so this is very convenient. Despite the good things, we had some issues with the particular booking, that we had. We had booked a two nights stay including breakfast and a three course meal in one of the evenings. At check inn, we were informed, that the restaurant was closed so they could not not offer the three course meal. We were told, that they could order some take away for us or compensate on the room rate in stead. The next day, we tried to arrange the evening meal but were told that this was not possible and that it was not included in the rate. It was nevertheless clearly stated on the booking confirmation. So we ended up having no meal as expected. Furthermore, they had not registered at the breakfast, that we had paid for breakfast, so also this was needed to be corrected. This was solved with the reception, but it was an unneeded obstacle. It is needed, that the booking website only offers possibilities that can be guaranteed. It was also clear, that you could book the offer with two nights stay and a three course meal also in the days after our visit. It may be due to Covid-19, that the offer could not be provided, but this should have been stated in advance.

Nice hotel in town with a fantastic view. Close to the Rhine river and you can walk along River Rhine. Some restaurants along the Rhine and a nice promenade and if you have your running shoes you can start the day with them.

Disappointing Stay

Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly front desk staff. They followed the hygiene protocol. Paid for the “premium room”. When entering our room, the lights and/or switches at the front were out or broken, and we noticed how warm the room was. We turned on the AC and left to go find dinner. The location is very nice, right next to the river and a lovely weinstube. No restaurant open in the hotel, and the back entrance/exit to easily enter and leave the property to get to the river was closed, assumably under some kind of COVID restriction. This made it very difficult to go in and out, requiring us to go through the parking garage. Upon returning to the room, it was even warmer than when we left it. I notified the front desk. I was told someone would look at it. We suffered a long and very uncomfortable night. Upon awaking, discovered the in room coffee machine was broken. Gave it up and hopped in the shower, there was no hot water. We suffered cold showers and headed down to eat. Breakfast was complicated. The line was a long wait and no one serving spoke enough English to explain what was available nor understand what we wanted. After a long wait, we received our food, mostly what we wanted, and headed for a table. But, forgetting to ask for salt and pepper, and not having it available at the table, again a COVID restriction, I had to get BACK INTO THE LINE because it was behind the serving line and had to be given to you by them. I asked a server for salt and pepper and was told I had to get it in the line to get it. Back to the front desk to ask again about the AC. Was told there were no technicians on Saturdays, but someone front the front desk would look at it. After returning to the room at the end of our day, the room was stifling hot. No housekeeping (COVID) so no minibar refresh (one of the perks of the room). Called front desk to ask for a fan and minibar items (which they provided). Was told they could open our windows for us if we signed a release, thank God. It was a total game changer that night. Also no toiletries provided whatsoever (COVID?) Anyway, after waiting 4 months to be able to travel due to lockdown, this stay was less than inspiring. Accor-get that place some maintenance! I have been living in Europe now for 9 years, and am used to things like bad pillows, but this was really disappointing overall.
