The Sofitel Melbourne on Collins experience was fantastic. Hotel staff contacted us prior to check in to ensure all of our needs were taken care of for the duration of our 2 night stay. The room was spacious and well appointed with great views from the 47th floor. Situated at the top end of Collins Street, the hotel is at home amongst many high end brand shops all within easy walking distance. Public transport via trams is also right out the front on Collins Street or if you prefer some exercise, it is not a stretch to walk to China Town, Bourke Street Mall, or even the casino and Southbank. All in all, great value and a wonderful time.
