Lovely stay. Rooms really well appointed. Receptionists very helpful. Toiletries, tea, coffee. Well situated beside Gare de Lyon for transport to Disney or exploring Paris. Shop, pharmacy and restaurants around.

On the plus side, the location is very convenient as it is beside Gare de Lyon. The person at the reception was friendly and check in was hassle-free. While the pool was quite small, it was a nice amenity to have. However the room is quite disappointing considering the price. First, the website states that the rooms have air conditioning. This is one of the reasons we specifically chose this hotel over others. However, apparently, only heating is coming from the vents at this time. The room was very hot, making it very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. We were advised to just open the windows and were given a small electric fan, which doesn’t help much. In addition, as it is located next to the train station, opening the windows lets all the noise in. They should make it clear on their website that air conditioning is only available on specific times of the year and provide a notification whether air conditioning will be available when you make a booking. Quite deceiving. Second, there's a strong urine smell from the toilet. We reported this to the reception and all the staff did was flush the toilet (which was already obviously flushed). The strong smell remained. Third, for some reason, only 1 small bottle of water a day is provided for 3 people. It would be nice to have 1 bottle each per person, or offer a refilling station like in other Novotel hotels.

Dear M. P.. We thank you for taking your time to share your feedback with us. We are sincerely sorry felt unconfortable in your room during your stay two weeks ago. We understand your disappointment and we present you our sincere apologies. On our website it is, indeed stated we have rooms with heater and air conditionning because our rooms are equipped with both. However, we can not activate both at the same time. When the temperature decreased last month we activated the heater mode in our hotel. With this mode, unfortunatly, you can not put A/C. However you can, turn off the heater in your room. We will have a look at the website if we can put more details about this matter. The toilets problem has been treated by our team. I will share your remark about the lack of bottle to our Direction.
