The hotel's location is close to downtown but is inconvenient for reaching the Coimbra B Station and the long-distance bus station. When I asked the receptionist during check-in how to reach the train station, I was told that it could only be reached by taxi or Uber, which is not true. I was also told that there was a green shuttle bus connecting the station but I couldn't find it. I was really disappointed by the false reply. I subsequently took bus route 22/22F to the station. I found the hotel disappointing overall. I opted for Holiday Inn Express in Porto and Lisbon whose charges were similar to ibis but offered much better quality.

We chose this hotel because we had our dog with us and the parks are right across the street. The room wasn’t really big enough for two people. The beds were so narrow that only people with anorexia could be comfortable there. But the room was clean and the staff members were very professional and friendly. Price was fair.

Extremely well located in Coimbra downtown. Safe area. Expected Ibis room (size, furniture, etc). Clean. Bathroom is in need of renovation. Ok for one night. Breakfast was a bit chaotic (a lot of people, but you should be prepared).
