After a stressful week, my husband and I thought a stay at Twin Waters was what we needed. As always, the tropical surroundings, wildlife and lagoon made our stay perfect to unwind. Our upgraded room was appreciated and breakfast was delicious.

Faded former glory in desperate need of a revamp

The room was small and tired. The beds were uncomfortable and sagging. The kettle was broken and fridge barely worked. The A/C has a minimum setting of 21 degrees which is not low enough. The TV was screwed to cabinet it sat on, which meant it couldn’t be moved. The long black hairs in the bathtub were an unwelcome surprise.

Overall, staty was ok. I booked and paid for 3 rooms for 4 adults. As an accor member, I would have expected the fruit platter, wine and chocolates to be in my room as primary guest. We also agree with your waiter who said that there should be table service for dinner. It's a beautiful location and hotel. There is room for improvement with service. The second morning I was advised that my credit card details weren't stored against all rooms by reception from the check in person the day before. I told the person on breakfast that I was an accor member but the discount was not honoured, I also said I only had a short period of time to eat prior to starting my day in my business, however I was held up with complaints about reception staff from the person serving in the breakfast part. I politely asked if I could just pay and move on as I had mentioned I had limited time and that perhaps their concern could be taken up with their line manager? I was told of course and sent on my way after my accor membership was forgotten so no discount... We were going to bring our family back to enjoy the play items you have but I am not sure now as this is the second time we've stayed and had issues. Sorry to sound like I am whinging but these are simple issues that could have been avoided.

The resort is absolutely beautiful especially the pool, beach and lake, but we found a majority of the staff were quite rude and overworked. This resort isn’t run very well and has the potential to be so much better for guests. The beach and pool area is their saviour everything else is run very poorly. We checked in at 3pm and check in is from 2pm and we still had to wait for our room to be ready. I think the management of this resort needs some guidance to make this place more entertaining for guests and maybe employ extra staff.
