I was let down by the service!

I was arriving late at the hotel, so I called ahead to ask if food would be available? I was informed that the restaurant would be closed when I arrived so I pre-ordered a cold plate of food for me and my colleague. During check-in I was advised that the food was waiting for us in our rooms, however it was not there. After three calls to reception the food eventually arrived. My colleague was awoken as they had fallen asleep. We had a very early check out so had booked packed breakfast also. This was really not good either, some mini croissants which tasted stale, possibly from the previous day and a small sandwich., an apple and a bottle of water. The hotel was very nice but I was surprised about this experience.

The hotel is very old, curtain is torn, the bed is sunken in and not really flat. I had backache after sleeping. The experience is not good.

Good Stay, convenient to my office

Overall it was a good stay but a few areas that could be improved include: breakfast is expensive for what is offered, the lobby bar ran out of one of our products (Larios 12 Gin) and the room temperature was much to hot.

Arriving with spouse on crutches, was happy to be able to check in early so she could rest after a long flight. The room was fine, aircon quite noisy and no kettle in room. Breakfast was okay, but coffee was Nespresso and not very tasty. Only two cereals to choose from. Restaurant at Novotel next door very good, and wheelchair accessible from the Pullman without getting wet in the rain.

Well located, 7 minutes from Barajas Airport. The room is pretty big , clean and modern. Only negative thing is TV, really bad connection and TV from probably 2000..

Temperature in room

The thermostat in room 506 was not working. It was 23.5 when we arrived. I tried turning the temp down and nothing happened. I turned the system off and we left for 4 hours. When we returned it was still 23.5. A technician came to the room and all we could do was keep it turned off. We had to sleep with the window open and even then by the morning the temp had only gone down to 21.5. We were trying to set it to 19.

All of the staff at Pullman Feria were fantastic, true 5* service from everyone. The location is perfect for an event at the IFEMA, it is about a five minute walk. The shower and bed were both brilliant, can't be faulted - a perfect sleep and a great wake up in the morning. Negatives - the rooms are very old...the TV is pretty unresponsive to the remote and channels are fuzzy, the window handle was broken, there are no ironing boards in the room, but reception will give you an iron and the worlds smallest ironing tabletop board (too small for a shirt and without legs), there are no power sockets near the bed unless you move furniture and unplug a lamp, there are no kettles/mugs in the room (for a 4* hotel that is not a good look), and the WiFi was incapable of sending/receiving a 1MB email...lastly one thing which I'm not sure if its cultural or not...all the hot food at breakfast was ice cold. Location and staff: 5/5 Rooms: 2/5

Bed metress not good enough . They must be replaced with the new ones . Room was not cleaned even it was mentioned to clean room outside door . Reception is very fast and good . Specially when you check in online . Breakfast was excellent

Azgators Couples - TripAdvisor review

We have stayed here multiple times while travelling through Madrid and making a quick stop. What really sets the Pullman apart from other options is its location and service. Yes there is an airport shuttle that you might have to wait up to 40 minutes for, which we have several times, but there is an easy alternative. If you will be travelling on the metro you may as well buy a day pass in the airport and go on the metro to a stop a block away from the hotel. No waiting, metro runs every few minutes and if weather is good you have a quick safe walk to the hotel. The metro can also be used in the morning if the shuttle is full or late. Up to you. As far as the room. It is fairly standard, but has enough room to spread out, also a very comfortable bed that is far superior to what is offered at the adjoining Novotel. Room was also very quiet even though it faces out toward the feria. If noise is a concern there are rooms that face inwards to the pool area, so its up to you. We also very much appreciate the great service at check in that you get from the men and women at the front desk. Even when we arrive earlier than check in time they find a way to get us a room so we can get our baggage in a room, or take a nap, and get into the city as quick as we can. Always appreciated. I will always pick the Pullman above other airport options when flying through Madrid.

By far the best hotel in Madrid Airport area

I believe it is by far the best option in the Madrid Airport area. All the other hotels are locked in the middle of industrial nowhere -- whilst Pullman/ Novotel is just across the road from the Juan Carlos park - which is vast and great for walks. The hotel itself is well balanced -- room size, bed comforts etc.are really good. The breakfast is excellent and the staff is very helpful. As a summer destination in Madrid it is the smartest option -- bearing in mind the affordable pricing and easy reach of the city.

This is a 2/3-star hotel claiming to be a 4-star. Positives: reliable AP shuttle, shiny spacious reception area, good wifi, good breakfast and its staff, good AC. Negatives: outdated rooms: My room had a broken lock and no chain, old TV with bad pic and sound, one bed cover type that leaves you no options. The pool area and its staff a big joke: no parasols (what you see in pics is not what you get), bad cs in the pool cafeteria, pools shared with the adjacent Novotel no respect for announced working hours. Reception staff do not recognize loyal clients. I got this on a good deal so no regret here but a warning if you are planning to pay top € for it thinking that you are paying for a 4-star.
