Lovely spa trip in this super location. As an Accor Thalassa regular I was keen to try out this 'budget' option in Hyeres. I had chosen a room with a logis or terrace and although I was worried about the bathroom being in the bedroom, it was actually fine - for me, anyway. Bed was really comfortable and there was a kettle, fridge and safe. No actual cupboards (just shelves and hooks) which is another quirk, but again it was okay. Ibis doesn't generally have carpeted floors in my experience but in Summer it's perfect. My terrace was ground floor which although I'd prefer to be higher, and less exposed, was also fine. Room was cleaned daily and decor was upto date. Reception was really welcoming when I arrived, but of note they had not received the email that Accor had sent out to me a few days earlier asking me what my 'preferences' were. In the end it was mostly irrelevant (did I like sparkling or still water, tea or coffee, did I want the diet menu or ordinary, what floor room did I want...) but possibly aimed at the higher end spas. The spa here is of a very high standard and treatments are superb and staff super professional. I heartily recommend this experience to anyone who needs to experience a proper spa. Restaurant food at the hotel was not refined or haute cuisine but it was honest and well cooked. Main menu doesn't vary but there are two specials offered for each course daily. There was unfortunately no diet menu offered which was a shame and it was difficult to know what might be a healthy option. I actually gained three pounds which was annoying. Overall I had a great stay. The centre is easy to get to from Hyeres train station and the no 67 bus stops right outside. From Marseille airport take the A1 to St Charles and get the train from there. There are also options to fly to nearby Toulon and Nice (further).

Overall, it was a very good experience. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant which is not very atmospheric but the food was a good and well presented. I would like to have seen more vegetarian choices on the menu and English breakfast tea available for breakfast.

I have stayed in your hotel on 5 occasions, 4 of which have been excellent. Location superb, helpful staff, very good and simple restaurant. On my recent stay a few days ago my room was very hot. I was told the aircon was switched off. Why? No reason given and the suggestion I open the window(and get mosquitos) not much use. Next, a fresh piece of fish at dinner no longer available. Why? Only reason given - decision to no longer offer. Vraiment, une mauvaise surprise.

we were moved to this hotel by Mercure in Hyere as the had some leak for two or three days and they moved us to this one - not a very clean experience

We loved the hotel, right on the beach in a fabulous, quiet scenery. The room was relatively small but the beds were comfy. Regular cleaning, complimentary water. Swimming pool and beach bar. The only minus was that the spa was closed during our stay
