Only 5 minutes walk from Portsmouth & Southsea railway station, 10 minutes from hovercraft terminal, 15 minutes from Gosport & Isle of Wight ferries and HMS Victory etc in the dockyard. Close to Southsea & Old Portsmouth (Spice Island & Hotwalls). Clean & tidy rooms, but wc too small (personal hygeine is a 'headbanging challenge'). I've stayed several times but I still cannot get an Ibis TV to function effectively. Pleasant efficient staff. Decent breakfast.

Smooth and polite check in, rooms of a good standard, small and compact but ideal for short stay. Good selection at breakfast including full English. Breakfast area was well maintained staff were polite and attentive.

Located close to train station and 20min walk from all major sites! Only issue is the paperthin walls and neighbours playing music until after midnight on Saturday night then having to listen to other side on phone early sunday morning

The hotel was welcoming, staff friendly and the room nice and clean. The room was a little on the small side but had everything we needed. The only real issue was the price as it was expensive for what it is.

Reception Staff - Excellent! Reception Area - Excellent! Leaky basin in our room. Problem report with reception. Overall, stay no bad. We did have some issues with external noise which could not be avoided. For sleep comfort, a lower tog quilt would have helped. Perhaps 1 or 4.5 Tog.

Paid over £200 for one night , room very small especially bathroom , budget room , it was extremely noisy due to event across the road, drunken guests shouting in corridor abd banging on doors at 2am!
