I missed a warm welcome, a more human interaction. Reception staff so robotic. No coffee in the room is a real minus

This business hotel is well located, safe, and clean. However, the overall cost of living in Paris was high, so the cost of hotel accommodation was a big burden.

First thing to understand is to manage your expectations Ibis is a travel lodge or holiday inn style/quality hotel so don’t expect too much The hotel itself is decent enough, the morning buffet style breakfast has everything you would expect but not a massive choice selection, coffee not to my taste but take out cups available which is nice if you did like it The bar is a very nice place to sit & relax with pleasent staff and nice wine Rooms are what really let this place down They are tiny (or at least mine was) No tea/coffee making facilities, no fridge, no wardrobe (there is a shelving unit with rail for hangers) The bathroom is microscopic, if you are a large person going to the toilet would not be comfortable at all Location wise it is 20 mins away from the Eiffel Tower (walking the shortest route), 45 mins from notre dame and an hour from the Louvre There is plenty of restaurants within close walking distance which is good but if you want to be close to the famous attractions in Paris I wouldn’t recommend staying here (unless you like lots of walking) Overall I had a pleasent stay here as I did a lot of research and knew what to expect. Just because I have now been to Paris I know where the better locations are for somewhere to stay so I will probably not return

This hotel is next to metro station and this enables you to access everywhere easily. Its in a neighbourhood where you can find all types of shops (grocery, pharmacy, bakery and restaurants.) Hotel staff very nice and helpful Rooms are small but OK. Would be good to have a minibar in the room, we couldnt put any food in the room as it was very warm. Housekeeping and cleaning was very good.
