Check in was smooth, room was comfortable and breakfast was standard hotel fare. Two minor issues, one the lifts, one was out of order, and for the volume of people going through the hotel this could lead to waits at peak time. Two the hotel uses the older magnetic door keys, which can easily become demagnetised especially if left in the same pocket as my mobile. Thee front desk was quick to correct for this but not a bit of a pain.

We were very warmly welcomed by Edwin who took time to show us on a map the main attractions of Bordeaux. This was extremely helpful. Consideration was shown for our lack of luggage on arrival.

Welcoming and helpful staff, the room was fine, with plenty of facilities. The breakfast choice was very good, well laid out and a choice of loose leaf teas for us tea drinkers. No downsides and we would use this hotel again.
