Dear Mrs. M., Thank you for taking the time to share your experience following your stay at Mercure Beaune Centre. We are delighted to hear that you appreciated the comfort and cleanliness of your room. However, we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused by the unpleasant odours coming from your bathroom and fully understand your dissatisfaction. We would like to assure you that this was a truly exceptional and unforeseen incident, which in no way reflects the quality standards we strive to maintain for all our guests. As guest satisfaction is at the heart of our priorities, our Front Office Agent personally visited your room to assess the situation and offer you a solution. We would nevertheless like to clarify one point regarding the goodwill gesture mentioned in your review. Two complimentary breakfasts were offered to you, but you declined the offer. We therefore made sure to offer you the two drinks you had at our bar that same evening, as compensation for the inconvenience experienced. Furthermore, as your stay had already been prepaid, we were unfortunately unable to apply an additional discount directly to your reservation. We are sorry if these gestures did not fully meet your expectations. Please rest assured that we place great importance on the quality of each guest's experience and take your feedback very seriously.
