Lovely hotel, easy to find, easy drive into the centre of Angers

Dear Madam, Thank you for your comments and your excellent rating following your stay at Novotel Angers Lac de Maine. The hotel has been stylishly refurbished however I felt that the services offered did not fully meet Novotel standards. Dining options are limited and the only vegetarian main dishes are on the bar snack menu. Technology and QR codes aside, the menu is poorly presented - do guests really want to see a 'non contractual' picture of what they are about to eat? If I did not have my smatphone wit me what would have been provided? No anti slip shower mat was available and neither baths or showers had anti slip surfaces.. The space to one side of the bed was very limited (Room 316). No USB sockets to be found anywhere in an 'executive room'. As no single use plastic now permitted, this is not an excuse to remove milk from the hospitality tray, there are plenty of quality powder milk products available in paper packaging. Alternatively place a card with the tray advising fresh milk available from bar or reception. No recognition of my platinum status and no welcome amenity provided (as per tier benefits). Music at breakfast was like a funeral service.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. I can assure you that the pictures on the site are of the actual dishes prepared by our chef and taken by the restauarant director, if you did not have your phone with you we would have brought the tablet to your table or simply told you the menu. None of the rooms have anti slip mats as per the norm in France but a bath mat is provided in each room. Like you we also find it regrettable that Accor choosen to remove the milk option from the rooms but they have promised it will be replaced with something so we are patiently waiting. As a platinum member i am surprised that you are not aware that the welcome drink is now on the application as Accor has also stopped printing them to aid in preserving the planet. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Nous sommes venu le samedi 21 décembre 2024 nous avons apprécié les chambres spacieuses et très confortables, le petit déjeuner très varié et coloré. La décoration rénové était moderne et lumineuse. Un merci à toute l’équipe et clémence.
