Dear S., Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. First of all, we are pleased to hear that you found our receptionist helpful and polite. At the same time, we regret that you did not feel comfortable during your stay. We naturally respect your personal impressions regarding the room size, the elevator and the level of outside noise. We will also take your comment regarding the windows seriously and check them again. However, we would like to clearly correct some of the statements made in your review. Our hotel has only recently undergone an extensive renovation and modernization, with significant investment made in both our guest rooms and public areas. Against this background, we cannot agree with the description of the building as “old and run-down.” In particular, the statement that the walls in your room were unplastered and that you could “touch and feel the cement” does not reflect the actual condition of our rooms. The walls in our renovated rooms are plastered and painted. Any visible surface texture is neither exposed cement nor an unfinished wall. We would also like to clarify the comment regarding drinking water. Our hotel provides a complimentary 24/7 water station for all our guests. For this reason, we deliberately do not provide an additional bottle of mineral water in every guest room. Finally, we would like to clearly distance ourselves from the repeated description of our hotel as a “hostel.” Personal expectations of a hotel can, of course, vary. However, our property is a professionally operated ibis hotel that has just undergone extensive modernization. Referring to it as a hostel does not appropriately reflect the current standard of our hotel, the substantial investments that have been made, or the work and commitment of our team. We sincerely regret that our hotel did not meet your personal expectations. Not every hotel concept will suit the individual preferences of every traveller, and we fully respect that.
