Overall clean hotel , but not enough staff to make it comfortable due to poor restraunt experience and poorly designed rooms affected sleep.
Dear Mr R., We thank you for sharing your feelings after your stay and we are sorry that you didn't find the level expected. We are sorry that you slept in an adaptated room, the furniture is the same but arranged a bit differently. As the hotel was fully booked, we had to provide that room as well. Do not hesitate to confirm at booking that you don't want that kind of room, we will be pleased to find another one. Be sure we take note of your review, especially for the restaurant as we want it great and welcoming. We do our best to provide a good service even when we receive a lot of guests. Driving to Cambrai was a good decision, but coming from the north made it difficult to find. Luckily I found a bar in town and the locals gave me a reasonable description how to get to the south west area. I was tired of driving and trying to work out how to get to the hotel, but the staff were very polite and helpful and I needed a good sleep before starting my return to Calais, having seen the tour de France from two locations. A great journey, which I will remember for a long time.

Too noisy in 1st floor room above hotel shed and facing road. Fruit sub-standard. Baguettes at breakfast there used to be really good but are not now.

If you want a bed with clean sheets and shower, the hotel is ok. But do not eat dinner or have breakfast there. Dinner: mixed up dishes, food was either burnt or cold, greasy mushed fries, wsiting time 1 hr and more. Breakfast: no plates, no cutlery, no cold cuts, no juice. The staff was nice but overwhelmed.

If you just need a bed with clean sheets and a bathroom, this IBIS will do. It is close to the motorway but still quiet and parking is in front. Dinner and breakfast however was terrible. Dinner: orders mixed up, food arrived after more than 1 hour either cold or burnt. The fries were a greasy mushy substance. Many guests complained. Breakfast: no plates, no cutlery, the tiny tray of cold cuts was always empty. Tasteless pre-packed cheese was the option, also pancakes tasted of nothing. Staff: friendly people, quick check-in, the waiter was hopelessly oberwhelmed. We stay at Accor/IBIS a lot but this was our worst experience yet.
