Location is not particularly nice. I had originally booked into the "4 " hotel , and changed to the main Ibis, as the 4 looked awful However main Hotel very comfortable , friendly staff and good resturant

Our meal was warm not hot and did not meet the explanation on the menu when we told reception she was not interested. I have stayed many times at Cambrai both with my wife and also with friends the hotel has always been friendly and helpful but since it has been refurbished it now seems to have changed. We would no longer stay at Cambrai but find an other Ibis hotel to stay at. We stayed at Ibis Chalon-en- Champargne on the 21 of January and were again very pleased with both the service and food. We will still use the Ibis hotels as we normally have good value for money. James D.

A good hotel on the outskirts of Cambrai, which was well placed for our needs. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. However, although both the windows seemed to be closed, there was a howling gale coming through and with no instructions on how to use the heater, the room remained cold throughout our stay. The warmth quality of the duvet was good enough to make up for this! The breakfast selection was of the usual Ibis good standard with plenty of choice and was actively replenished. The only down-side was that the restaurant doesn't seem to operate every day. We made use of a very good Portuguese restaurant (O Nazareno) at the end of the hotel access road on our first night. On our second night, the Ibis restaurant was available and we were able to enjoy a good, well presented meal.

Charged twice for stay

My stay was ok. The room was smelly. I have been charged twice for this stay and will have to get a refund arranged. This is a real hassle.

Dear Ms R., I really thank you for your comment after your stay. I am surprised you write that you have been charged twice. We double checked and we have only one paiment for your stay. We usaually do authorization on credit cards on arrival day, but this does not charge the card. This authorization has been closed by our staff few days after your departure. We also have a second booking for your, you come back tomorrow at our hotel. That reservation is already paid, you did it directly threw the website. Be sure we all remain at your disposal to clarify any question you may have, and we hope you will enjoy your next stop. With our best regards.

We went to visit the small village of Masnières nearby. In this town over 300 men from our tiny island were killed on one day in November 1917. So we had a pleasant surprise at the Ibis as the hall carpets featured a wonderful red poppy design. The hotel room was good value, clean and a fine shower room. Evening Meal and breakfast very tasty. Smiling happy staff and adequate car park.

Typical Ibis, not great but not bad either. Rooms OK, restaurant adequate, staffing as usual at Ibis, minimal. Good location for motorway but a car ride out of city centre.

My stay was okay, but administration was bad.

When I paid my bill the receptionist could not find the bill for my dinner, so I paid for the room only and said if the meal bill was found it could be emailed to me. It has since been emailed and I have since sent a cheque.I then found that Ibis had also taken the room amount from my UK credit card. I have reported this to my UK bank and they are dealing with this. I tried to telephone the hotel regarding this problem but was told on two occasions that nobody spoke English. Not very satisfied.

In Room 101, 7-12 August 2019, mentioned about toilet seat not staying up. It was not fixed within 15 minutes as supposedly stated on the card in the room. So what are you going to do about my complaint? Some monetary refund for the ridiculous discomfort. Otherwise the stay was fine.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel because the room was comfortable, the staff were friendly and the food was good and the chef cooperated to make sure my wife had good vegetarian meals every evening for the 3 days of our holiday.

Staff ordering on being rude whether this was because we were English and there were some English youth football teams and their families and they appeared quite rowdy we felt the staff presumed we were with them when that was not the case. So not a particularly nice experience.
