I do stay in the hotel for many years The only thing I don’t like they are taking pre authorization with amount higher than the total amount of the room cost . Even that we have free cancellation category and in case of cancellation , they should take first night only . I don’t know why they charge the all nights + 60 euro ….

We'd intended to stay at Ibis Reims (Tinqueux) which we know well. But our car broke down and the breakdown lorry brought us here as the nearest Ibis. We were lucky to get a room as there was a Belgian cycle team staying (very well behaved). We hoped to be able to get on the next day but our roadside assistance was not very efficient so we stayed another night. The staff were really nice and helpful throughout and we enjoyed two excellent meals with good wine as well as two good breakfasts. Only the lunch was a little sad, but it was wonderful to be able to get something to eat in the middle of the day at all with just one worker doing desk, kitchen and dining room (I'd say she was over-worked). I note in our Accor Account we are recorded as having stayed only one night but in fact we were there for the nights of 11th and 12th.

We come every year, twice (to & from the Alpes), and will be back next year. The only disappointing aspect this year, was the lady on check-in. I always check-in on line, I’m a member of the Accor club, so you have my details. But after a 9 hr drive, the girl (1st time I’ve ever been asked, insisted that I dug out my passport & was rude whilst asking. I felt like a criminal. Disappointing.
