I found the service was exceptional throughout. The staff at the reception, the Royale restaurant on the 3rd floor, and the Bartisry were super efficient and were also mindful of the customer needs in spite of the heavy traffic. Their attention to detail was out of the ordinary. The bed was super comfortable and cosy. I was asleep in a minute after a tiring day. I will definitely recommend the Mercure Singapore Bugis to anyone I know who is travelling to Singapore, and it will certainly be my first choice if I am visiting Singapore again.

I stayed at Mercure Bugis Singapore for a business trip, and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The main issue was the semi-transparent bathroom. I came for business purposes and expected proper privacy, but the bathroom design did not provide that at all. My colleagues who stayed in other rooms had the same issue. They also felt uncomfortable and avoided using the shower because the bathroom walls were semi-transparent. For one person to shower, the other had to leave the room completely, which was extremely inconvenient. This design offers very little privacy and is not suitable for business travelers. I am very disappointed, and if I had known about the semi-transparent bathroom, I would never have booked this hotel. I will not be staying here again.

Everything at the room simply works, no troubles. Convenient location. Breakfast buffet with various choices. Swimming pool with lovely views. Interesting and fun two floor design with staircase to your bed. Filtered water for your unlimited thirst, displaying the filtering bottles to let you know they are serious on the filter process. Would book again when visit Singapore.
