Brisbane, the sunshine capital of Australia, Queensland’s big smoke and your portal into the playful and hilarious universe of the world’s favourite blue heeler family. Bluey’s World Brisbane is a 4000-square-metre love letter to the animated Aussie TV show that’s taken over living rooms around the world.
It’s big, bright, and interactive – the ultimate experience for anyone who loves the joy and heartwarming adventures of Bluey.
Here is everything you need to know about Bluey's World and why you should visit.
Two of Brisbane’s iconic CityCats have been playfully transformed into CityDogs. Celebrating the much-loved Bluey and her little sister Bingo, and honouring Bluey’s connection to Brisbane, the CityDogs offer a unique and entertaining way to travel and explore the river city.
Consider it the start of your best day ever – whether it’s spotting familiar Bluey references or enjoying a scenic ride down the river, the CityDogs will connect you to the heartwarming adventures of Bluey and Bingo in a whole new way.
Nothing beats travelling in true Bluey style aboard the CityDogs, ferrying you to and from the Northshore Hamilton ferry terminal.
Step inside the Heeler’s home, where every detail mirrors the show’s signature colour palette and playful charm. From the well-loved hallway rug to the pair of wheelie bins out front, it’s a fully immersive experience, curated especially for kids. With interactive games, cryptic clues and comedic cameo moments, every corner invites you to get amongst the delightful chaos.
The first hint that you’re in core memory making territory comes when you see a life-sized fairy prancing around the doorstep of the Heeler’s flawlessly recreated Queenslander house. The white picket fence and familiar facade are instantly recognisable and surreal to see in person.
The whimsical fairy lets you know that there’s an urgent quest afoot: you need to bring a garden gnome to life, as one does, and track down Bluey and Bingo before Unicorse pulls the rug out from under you. A real life Gnome then guides you in a pantomime-like fashion from room to room, providing entertainment and the occasional meltdown when Unicorse tries to derail the mission.
The Bluey’s World experience has the same gentle, funny wisdom as the hit-TV series. Sure, you’re there to follow a fairy and jostle a gnome around, but a moment will come, maybe a touchingly sage line from Chilli or a snippet from a favourite episode, when you realise you’re witnessing something more than a kids’ attraction. You’re taking part in a celebration of big emotions: fear, courage, hope, joy.
The walls are adorned with framed memories of the Heeler family, making it feel like you’ve stepped into the home of an old friend. Kids are guided through clue-finding adventure that makes them feel like they’ve entered a Bluey episode, complete with imaginative play and beautifully crafted props. Wait, is that the Magic Xylophone on the coffee table? And isn’t that the kiwi rug from the playroom?
Fans will delight in spotting Easter eggs scattered throughout the experience. Is the famed duck cake from Bingo’s birthday tucked in the oven? Bandit’s undies in an unexpected spot? Anything’s possible. And yes, if you’re looking for the hidden ‘long dog’ in every room, it’s there waiting to be found.
In the backyard under the shade of a huge poinciana tree, kids play ‘Nail Salon’ and ‘Keepy Uppy’. The Creek is a blend of art installation and enchanted oasis, where projected water, fish, tadpoles, and turtles flicker beneath your feet, accompanied by the soothing sounds of bushland.
Bluey’s World feels designed for the kiddos, but if you’re a 40-year-old who’s unashamedly in love with the show, you won’t be disappointed either. The guided experience clocks in at around 60 minutes which is just right for kids’ attention spans.
Toddlers (2–3) might not follow every storyline or clue, but they’ll revel in the fun and interactive elements, from pressing musical buttons to dancing along with Chattermax. Primary Kids (4–8) will enjoy solving puzzles and navigating both the house and yard without too much parental rescue. Pre-teens might roll their eyes a bit…until you catch them quietly bopping along to Dance Mode.
Don’t panic if the munchkins start clamouring for snacks mid-quest; you’ll find a bright, cheerful café (dubbed the Golden Crown Takeaway Shop, if you’re paying close attention) brimming with references to the show. Bluey Box Meals come loaded with a sandwich, apple, drink, and sweet treat. The fortune cookies carry iconic lines from the show, like “Just run your own race,” or the classic “Don’t forget to check for bum worms”.
Brisbane has plenty of family-friendly hotels that are not far from Bluey’s World.
If you’re looking for city chic, FV Brisbane by Peppers is just a fifteen-minute drive away and has a contemporary vibe, complete with a rooftop pool that’s perfect for a sunset dip. At either Mantra South Bank or Novotel South Bank, you’ll be a stone’s throw from Brisbane’s cultural precinct and the kiddy haven of Streets Beach.
Pullman King George Square delivers old-world swagger with modern comforts, or for the more artistically inclined, The Johnson Brisbane Art Series transforms your stay into a mini-gallery tour. But if you’re travelling with a few kids, it’s hard to go past the Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill. Warm service, great pool, comfy beds, and easy access to central Brisbane.
From the comfort of your hotel room, revisit all the best Bluey episodes to prepare for the experience. Elements from The Creek, Duck Cake, Unicorse, Bad Mood, Born Yesterday, Chattermax, Magic Xylophone, and Cubby all show up.
Bluey’s World is a manifestation of why so many parents around the globe binge-watch an animated Aussie show about a family of blue heelers. You’ll laugh, you might cry, and you’ll almost certainly end up carrying an armful of plush home from Alfie’s Gift Shop. Just like Chilli says, the world can still be a magical place if you let it.

You can also pack a picnic, then hang out at the nearby playground in the public park next to Bluey’s World once you finish your experience.
Once you wrap up your escapades and manage to unfreeze Bluey and Bingo, you’ll exit through Alfie’s Gift Shop. Alfie’s Gift Shop is chock-full of puzzles, clothes, and exclusive plush toys of Floppy, Jeremy, Hecuba and Long Dog.
The venue is equipped with general accessibility features for strollers and wheelchairs in communal areas, though prams aren’t permitted during the guided portion. For specific accessibility needs, check with staff when booking. While some lighting sequences include flashing and patterned lighting effects, there is no strobe lighting.
Because Bluey’s World is a highly stimulating interactive space additional resources like over-ear protectors and hidden disability lanyards are available at the Info Booth. Bluey’s World is also running specific sensory sessions with reduced stimuli. See the website for dates and details.
