Camp stretcher in South Bank and bad customer service.

When we arrived in our room we noticed mould in the bathroom and showers. Unfortunately it didn’t end there. I then noticed while laying on my twin share queen bed, lots of ants crawling around. They were also running up the wall and window. When we contacted front of house they had no decent solutions or compensation. Only trying to offer me a free drink and a single bed camp stretcher in another room. This is disgusting service and the fact of offering no financial compensation or another room that we booked they could only offer a camp stretcher bed. This is not the type of thing you would expect at a 4.5 hotel, I would be treated better at a backpackers. I do not recommend this place at all. Find a 3 star with good reviews.

Thank you for the upgrade of my standard room to a junior suite. It was a pleasant stay and thank you for a flexible welcome drink. DETAILS OF NOTICE: I did not receive “online check in” for this stay. Why? The inner end of the mugs have stains of coffee under the spoon and I think they were not replaced. The shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap and body lotion were in small amount and have not been refilled. - Guest should be offered a free car parking space instead of a high fee charge. Otherwise, and even after this stay, I still look forward to stay in Novetel Hotel again in my future trip. Thank you for all your services.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at the Novotel Brisbane South Bank. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was well presented. This hotel is in a fantastic location close to QPAC and the museums making sight-seeing very easy. We have stayed here before and will continue to stay here again.
