Friendly staff, clean rooms, overall happy with the stay! Dyson hairdryers pictured in photos but cheap Remington provided in room.

Our room was absolutely beautiful, pleased to see more then just the usual playroom available for the kids, the outdoor play area was a hit. Especially loved the free zooper doopers and pool toys! Wish we could have stayed longer.

I stayed for 3 nights and found the room to be very comfortable. I didn't dine in the restaurant so can't comment on that. Only issue that I have is that I arrived after 9pm from Melbourne and the restaurant was already closed. The mini bar in my room was not stocked either so I had to use a food delivery service which was inconvenient.

The Check in and lobby staff were excellent and very prompt. The Restaurant bar staff and the service during breakfast was par excellence. Young staff being recruited which is the best thing for all businesses and more senior staff associating and training, Top marks.

clean, comfortable room, excellent location. Check in was a little slow, but I think the member of staff was new. Only minus point was parking. We had asked for parking, and because the hotel was busy, we had to park in the convention centre car park.

I recently spent five nights at Novotel South Bank. Positives include: -Very quiet room which was greatly appreciated as I had a very large working week and it allowed an undisturbed sleep each night which was greatly appreciated. - Consistent delicious food at your restaurant and lovely service from wait staff - Great service by reception staff through the week. Needs work: - Whist this wasn’t a major issue it was quite frustrating that a garment I needed to be dry cleaned for that evening wasn’t returned by 6pm as was promised. I’d recommend a couple of things relating to this: Wherever laundry bags are located in the room I’d suggest leaving signage to communicate that laundry needs to be dropped to reception to be processed. Secondly that if it looks like a guests items won’t be returned by the 6pm due time: some prior notification would be appreciated.

I am from MEL and stay in BNE 2 nghts week, very week. I tend to stay wither with the Novotel or Courtyard Marriot. The per night price is about the same (Novotel a little more expensive). The Marriott rooms are larger (and don't have a bathroom partly in the bedroom). Amenities are similar. The tioleteries at the Marriott seem more premium and they also provide slippers (which are a big thing for me and means I don't have to pack my own).

We had the best stay at Novotel, not only were the staff lovely and helpful, they even gave us balloons and a lovely bottle of wine in our room for my husbands birthday. It was conveniently located, within walking distance to everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and again the staff were wonderful. We absolutely loved our stay, the room was so clean, had everything we needed and the bed was so comfy. We will definitely be back in the future!

Thanks to Ronald McDonald house at herston myself and my husband were put up at your accommodation due to the power being off. If it wasn't for them we would've had to pay alot of money to stay somewhere and being off work for sometime now we would've struggled to find something but you guys come to Ronald's resuce thank you ever so much for allowing us to stay and a very big thanks for Ronald McDonald house for finding us accommodation at such short notice

Our night at the Southbank Novotel was perfect. The rooms were great. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing as was breakfast the next morning and the magician entertaining the children at breakfast was a special treat. The staff were exceptional. The only downer was not being able to park in the hotel, but in the Convention Centre across the road. The other problem we had was that the whole family tested Covid positive on return home.

Close to West End and South Bank. Restaurant was open with a reasonable variety and meals were great value. Hopefully soon the world will be back to normal. Staff were friendly. Enjoyed our time there.
