Not normally a fan of the the Novotel brand. Usually quite ‘bogan’ and very underwhelming. This property was a pleasant surprise. So with regards to the last rating on this page, I would highly recommend this Novotel but generally not most other Novotel properties.

We landed in Brisbane after some very long flights and booked interconnecting rooms for a family of 4. There were no car parking spaces available and we had to park at the conference centre over thr road. It was expensive. There were no "Welcome" notes or water in the room. There was a menu telling us that we could buy this. For an expensive hotel this was not good. The beds were amazing and breakfast was lovely so 7/10 seems fair. It is a shame there were no personal touches or welcome water/snacks especially as we were travelling so far as a family. Other hotels do this much better.

I understand this can be frustrating after travelling, and we will continue to review how we communicate this more clearly ahead of arrival. Had my second stay at Notovel South bank and can easily say this is my favourite hotel! The rooms are clean, comfortable and beautifully presented, the beds are amazing to sleep on and its located close to amenities and the translation.
