I am an Accor diamond member and when I checked in Sebastien immediately took over! We were upgraded with the best view of the HKG / Kowloon harbour I have ever seen. Because we stayed on the 31st floor, we had access to a private elevator. This is a glass elevator with a view of the harbour, easy access to the ground floor and breakfast floor. Room size was good for the two of us, it has rain shower, a bit small though, i guess tall people or big-size person will have a problem with it. As it was my birthday last Nov 28 and my husband coming on Dec 30, we were given a slice of chocolate cake and it was fantastic. The hotel, though does not sell this cake Breakfast was good! Marsha, the manager prepares good cafe mocha. I ordered one from another person but it was just not right, when I mentioned this to Marsha, she immediately changed it. Breakfast includes fresh pomelo juice and fresh orange juice! This is what I like the most. The deli, bread and milk, juices are buffet, but you order your breakfast ala carte. I guess my only complaint here is that food always arrive cold. It is like it has been prepared already, thus we didnt have to wait that long for it to be served. Location was also excellent. When you exit the hotel, turn left and then right, and you see N1 Exit from East Tsim Tsa Tsui. I can go to Avenue of Stars, Harbour City faster when we take the MTR underground. Just walk and follow the Exit signs. This is just a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel. There is also a K11 Art museum here. One Dimsum is just a minute walk from the hotel. Exit hotel, turn right, and at the corner is One Dimsum. They serve very good dimsum even in the evening! Check-out was also a breeze. Gerald helped us picked-up our luggage and also waited for our Uber car. All-in-all it was a fantastic holiday at Mondrian and definitely we will be back!
