Hi-Voltage Couples - TripAdvisor review

Our experience was overall very good. We booked a luxury club room which we would highly recommend as the club benefits are well worth the extra cost. Club benefits Separate check in and check out on the club floor (floor 51) Breakfast is very good with good choices cooked to order. Soft drinks and coffee/tea is available all day and evening as part of the club package Afternoon tea is served from 1400 to 1600 Pre-dinner canapés and drinks from 1700 to 1900. Premium alcoholic drinks, cocktails and a very good selection of canapés with nice variation. All staff in Club Millesime were excellent. Very attentive, polite and professional. We’re very particular about our coffee and always request a dry cappuccino. Although this proved to be bit of a challenge the staff were resolute in achieving perfection and did so after a few attempts. Thanks to all staff who provided excellent service including: Mariziel Ishan Nisha Aswin Ayu Khin Charm Mohammed Arif Tawanda Priyanka Isabella Room Very large and well thought out L’occitane toiletries Extra large comfortable bed Large walk in shower and twin sinks. Overall very good. Location Close to many things and downtown Dubai. Short taxi rides to the Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, Creek, Gold Souk etc. Housekeeping Very efficient and the room was made up to an excellent standard. We were very impressed with housekeeping. Pool area was relaxed with not too loud music. Pool was perfect. Sunbeds comfortable. When we stayed the pool area was not too busy and getting a bed was never an issue. Although bottles of water were provided we feel that putting them in an ice bucket would be beneficial. Gym - clean and efficient, equipment is well maintained. Ultimately it’s a hotel gym which is relatively small but serves its purpose. Restaurants The half board option is not great. The choice is somewhat limited on the half board menus. The Nine offers mainly British food which whilst it is plentiful and reasonably tasty it lacks choice. It’s OK for a couple of nights but not for a week. Soleil pool restaurant closes at 19.30 and offers mainly snack type food. It’s good for a chicken Caesar salad and a club sandwich. The other two restaurants are much more upmarket but again the half board menu is not a great choice. Additionally you have to pay an extra 50 dirhams per head to eat there. Overall we had an excellent time. Our only gripe is the half board option and we would not go half board again at this hotel.

The personnel cleaning our room have been outstanding. The level of service is a very high standard. The staff in the Club lounge are exceptional and this hotel is the best we have ever stayed at. The facilities are world class and this hotel sets the standard for other hotels around the world.

Excellent experience. Clean room with very good breakfast and superb hospitality and service. Would mention Rahul and Mary for housekeeping excellent service The hotel is close to airport with easy access to the city via nearby metro station and free shuttles. All the staff including shuttle bus operator are very helpful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.
