Novotel Barcelona is in a good location in a redevelopment area. It’s clean and the room furniture is streamlined with a sleek look. My room was small but adequate. There are plenty of charging outlets. The bathroom amenities are lacking: no wash cloths, no hand and body lotion, no bar of soap ( only liquid soap), no crème rinse, and no box of tissues. There is a hairdryer. There are no doors on the closet.

Well located and comfortable rooms, excellent staff, dreadful pillows and short on amenities although wonderful Rituals soaps. However, what I really didn´t like was the passive-agressive signal in the shower saying something like : at Novotel we take our time with everything except for the shower". Well, I understand you want to reduce costs (please no green washing) and I always take short showers. But, for more than 230 EUR the night, I feel I can take a long shower. Shower shaming in a passive agressive mode is not done. I suggest you remove that signal, it´s rude and useless.
