The hotel is well located and comfortable with an acceptable breakfast however there is no protection against outside/street noise at night and this really spoils things. Would not stay again.

Novotel Gent is perfectly located right in the city center, making it an excellent base for exploring Ghent on foot. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which made the experience even more pleasant. Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety and good quality options. The bar and restaurant area have a cozy, relaxed atmosphere—ideal for unwinding after a day in the city. The parking is quite tight, but it’s good to know that your car is safe and conveniently on-site, making it easy to just jump in and go when needed. Overall, a very comfortable and well‑positioned hotel that I would happily recommend.

Everything was perfect, food, location and staff. Only negative was bad smell from sewer in shower room
