We stayed at Avista to celebrate my partner's birthday, and overall had a wonderful experience. The reception team made us feel incredibly welcome with thoughtful birthday decorations and a cake waiting in our room, which was a lovely surprise. What truly made our stay memorable was the people. Chef Shishir was warm, attentive, and always took the time to check in with us during breakfast each morning. He also provided exceptional service when we dined at CHAR'D Grill. Kung from Pearl Spa was equally outstanding. Her genuine friendliness and personal touch made us feel like valued guests. She remembered us whenever we crossed paths outside the spa and always took a genuine interest in how our day was going. The couples massage itself was excellent, and thanks to Kung's warm hospitality, I booked a second massage during our stay. Chef Pang made the Thai cooking class one of the highlights of our trip. She was patient, funny, and enthusiastic, and truly went above and beyond to create a memorable experience. The only area that fell short was housekeeping. On the morning after our first night, I experienced an allergic reaction due to my dust mite allergy. We immediately requested a bedding change at around 8:00 a.m. and explained that it was allergy-related. Although we were told someone would come right away, the bedding had still not been changed by 11:30 a.m., and we had to follow up with reception before it was finally completed later that afternoon. We also experienced delays when requesting additional bottled water, had leftover food and used tissues on a table that were not cleared during housekeeping, and on another day our towels, tea supplies, and teaspoons were not fully replenished after the room was serviced. Individually, these may seem like small oversights, but together they reflected inconsistent attention to detail from the housekeeping team. This was actually our second stay at Avista for my partner's birthday, having previously visited in 2024. During our first stay, housekeeping was impeccable and we didn't experience any issues at all. That's why the inconsistencies this time stood out so noticeably. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and left with many wonderful memories. The outstanding hospitality shown by the reception team, Chef Shishir, Kung, and Chef Pang far outweighed these shortcomings. With improvements to housekeeping, Avista would once again deliver the exceptional guest experience we know it is capable of.

Highly recommended to stay with this hotel. I absolutely have to give a huge shoutout to Sindee at the front desk! When we arrived Sindee come over to approach us with our check in and told us that we have upgraded to Deluxe Room, pool view, 1 King Bed, Balcony to sea view. She even gave us a detailed tour of the entire hotel, including our room. We also received Thai Tea and the banana candy as a welcoming stay. Me and my daughter were traveling together and we both adored her; she was so gentle and enthusiastic! When I am trying to book ATV via Klook which I have difficulty to figure out the meeting point she is so helpful to help me contact and speak in Thai with the driver and check for me the correct place for the driver to reach the ATV meeting point. Appreciate her thoughtfulness and helpfulness. I could feel excellent service mind from every one of them working in the Avista Grande. Surprise birthday celebration with some decorations and cake for my daughter and the cake is nice both me and my daughter love it. On my gal actual birthday another decoration and birthday cake surprise us again. So thoughtful of them. All the rooms are clean and spacious. They provide a lovely beach bag while I have no ideal what kind of bag to bring to the beach and island tour. This lovely beach bag allow me to carry it to beach and island tour really make my day. They provide flip-flops as well. The pool is great for swimming and it is near Karon Beach. The beach is just across the road.
